BUDI RAYNAR | Male, 23 | Parakacuk

BACKSTORY:

In 2018, the Battle of Cipta Wiyata took place, in which Budi played a significant role in its outcome. The consequences of the Battle of Cipta Wiyata affected almost everyone, including Budi himself. His disappointment in constantly breaking promises led him to decide to drop out of school after the Battle of Cipta Wiyata. Budi then continued to study from home, even though he knew he wouldn't have a high school diploma. Budi's foster father, Uncle Danang, invited him to go to the gym and meet his friend who was an MMA athlete. Because he didn't have a diploma, there weren't many jobs Budi could do, so he was immediately intrigued by the invitation. Since then, Budi trained every afternoon with Uncle Danang and his friend. Budi also followed a diet and lifted weights. In a short amount of time, Budi showed that he deserved to be an MMA athlete. Budi also met and explained everything to Sophia when the time was right. Sophia supported Budi's decision and still wanted to be in a relationship with him. 
Two years later, Budi met Parakacuk again at Kedan Coffee. All the members were shocked to see Budi suddenly appear. Budi apologized for leaving without an explanation, and the atmosphere in Parakacuk returned to normal, until Rani was threatened with being fired from B.I.J.I(Bureau Intelligence Jayakarta Investigation) ​ on drug charges and left everyone stunned. Initially, Budi only wanted to help to a certain extent, but when he learned that this case was connected to his past, Budi immediately devoted all his energy to helping Rani.

JORDAN | Male, 22 | Beyond Dream

BACKSTORY:

Jordan is a second-semester student majoring in Animation at Majapahit Jayakarta University. Previously, Jordan attended Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School, which had been freed from the Raise Your Gang tournament. In the 11th grade, he had to move to another city with his parents. While attending Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School, Jordan heard about a figure named Budi, who played a crucial role in the dissolution of the Raise Your Gang tournament. Admiring Budi, Jordan took him as a role model. Jordan also discovered his passion for playing music and learning martial arts during his time at Cipta Wiyata. However, Jordan's parents did not allow him to pursue these interests, believing that he should stick to the same field of study as he did in high school. Despite his disappointment, Jordan complied with his parents' request to choose the same major in university, under the condition that he would be allowed to live independently in Jayakarta and attend school there. His reasoning was that it would help him learn to be more independent, but in reality, Jordan requested this arrangement so that he could delve deeper into his passion for music. 
During the orientation period (PKKMB), Jordan met Alex, Andira, and Halimawan. They got to know each other and discovered they had similar interests, leading to a strong friendship. Towards the end of the orientation period, there was an impromptu band competition. Alex came up with the idea to invite Jordan, Andira, and Halimawan to form a band on a whim called "Beyond Dream"

ANTAGONIS CAST

RICCO RUUTNA | Male, 24 | Antagonist

Theatrical, controlled, dangerous. Everything is performance. Rage weaponized, never accidental. What he calls love is ownership. Says things once. Manages silences deliberately.

Imprisoned after the Battle of Cipta Wiyata. Released early under circumstances nobody is explaining. Sofia's ex. Black Meth street operator under Zulkifli. He considers her unfinished business. He always has.

PAK ZULKIFLI | Male, 50s | Antagonist

Universitas Majapahit lecturer. Black Meth cartel architect. The most dangerous character because he looks the least dangerous. Entirely ordinary-seeming. Patient, methodical. Institutional authority as camouflage. Three years. No mistakes.

SIDE CAST

RANI | Female, 22 | BIJI investigator / Parakacuk

BACKSTORY:

Rani is one of the members of B.I.J.I (Bureau Intelligence Jayakarta Investigation), a state intelligence company operating in the Jayakarta region. Rani managed to get into this company thanks to her hard work in achieving high grades at Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School. Furthermore, Rani's successful gathering of evidence regarding the arsonist and embezzlement of the BOS (School Operational Assistance) funds at Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School was a significant portfolio for B.I.J.I. Everything went smoothly until one day when Rani took on a drug case. It was a case that should have only involved apprehending drug dealers, but Rani instead uncovered the common thread among the supporters and main protectors of the drug business. This is why drug cases in Jayakarta never seem to get resolved. Just as Rani was about to unveil those responsible, she was suddenly falsely accused of keeping drugs in her desk drawer. Confused about what to do, Rani confided in Parakacuk, and her friends were more than happy to help Rani clear her name once again.

BOBY | Male, 22 | Parakacuk

BACKSTORY:

Boby is an alumnus of Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School and is currently studying at Majapahit Jayakarta University. Although he was quite smart during high school, his academic performance has declined while in university. One of the reasons is that he doesn't have close friends who can motivate him on campus. Among all the members of Parakacuk, only Boby is pursuing higher education. Boby has tried hard to graduate on time, but he still can't manage it. When Rani was in danger of being fired from B.I.J.I(Bureau Intelligence Jayakarta Investigation), Boby could only help to the extent that he could due to his busy schedule as a lecturer's assistant. The other members of Parakacuk understand this because Boby is already in his later semesters.

ZAENAL | Male, 22 | Parakacuk / Kedan Coffee

BACKSTORY:

Zaenal is an alumnus of Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School who currently works as the manager of a café called Kedan Coffee. While still in school, Zaenal worked at Kedan Coffee under the guidance of someone named Mr.Kevin. When Zaenal graduated, Mr.Kevin entrusted his café business to Zaenal, as he believed Zaenal to be a diligent, hardworking, and honest person. Zaenal is grateful for the trust and responsibility placed in him, but at the same time, he also feels burdened by it. His burden grows heavier when Rani, his beloved friend, needs his help, but he can't offer much assistance due to his responsibilities and his own illness. However, he is thankful because, for the second time, Budi is able to indirectly help him in his situation.

ANDIRA | Female, 21 | Beyond Dream

BACKSTORY:

Andira is a second-semester student majoring in Animation at Majapahit Jayakarta University. Her childhood was influenced by her parents' divorce, which left her feeling lonely due to a lack of affection. However, Andira's father continued to support her education and needs. When her parents divorced, Andira chose to stay with her father, as her mother left with another man, citing her father's busy work schedule as the reason. Due to the divorce, Andira's father became quite protective of her. Andira was not allowed to live away from home and could only attend university in Jayakarta. Since high school, Andira has always been involved in music extracurricular activities and consistently took on the role of singer in her band. Her golden voice is a gift inherited from her father, who is a singer himself. However, Andira decided not to follow in her father's footsteps due to the trauma from her parents' second marriage. Instead, she chose to pursue animation and kept music as a mere hobby

ALEX | Male, 22 | Beyond Dream

BACKSTORY:

Alex is a fourth-semester student majoring in Animation at Majapahit Jayakarta University. Alex is a more senior student compared to Jordan in terms of academic progress. Their meeting happened during the orientation period (PKKMB) when Alex disguised themselves as a new student, purely for mischief. However, during PKKMB, Alex ended up becoming close friends with Jordan, Andira, and Halimawan due to their engaging conversations and shared hobby of music. From that moment, they formed a band called Beyond Dream. Alex went to Jayakarta to fulfill the wish of his older sibling, who wanted Alex to attend university. Alex is the second child in a family of two. Both of his parents passed away when Alex was just a baby, leaving his alone with their older sibling. When the older sibling saw Alex's potential in animation and music, they offered to finance Alex's education in Jayakarta. However, music education turned out to be very expensive, so Alex was forced to choose animation. But once in university, it turned out that animation was just a hobby, and Alex only had surface-level skills in it, which they would use when they got bored. Many of Alex's courses had to be retaken because they couldn't achieve satisfactory grades. Alex had tried to study, but his grades were still low due to demanding professors. His older sibling had no idea about Alex's true grades, as Alex pretended that everything was fine. Alex felt like a burden to their older sibling.

HALIMAWAN | Male, 21 | Beyond Dream drummer

BACKSTORY:

Halimawan is a second-semester student majoring in Animation at Majapahit Jayakarta University. Since childhood, Halimawan has come from a rather troubled family. His father is a heavy drinker and gambler, often resorting to violence towards Halimawan and his mother when he loses bets. Unable to bear it any longer, Halimawan and his mother eventually fled to Jayakarta. In this new city, his mother found work as an office administrator. Halimawan intended to help his mother by working right away, but she insisted that he finish his education first. According to her, Halimawan's education is the top priority as it could change his destiny. Despite his family's turmoil, Halimawan's mother always instilled in him an optimistic outlook in order for him to become a vastly improved version of herself. This upbringing has shaped Halimawan into an optimistic individual with a way of speaking that can influence others.

SOFIA | Female, 23 | Budi's girlfriend

BACKSTORY:

Sophia Oktosoma is an alumna of 47 Jayakarta Vocational High School. In her 12th grade, just a few weeks before the National Exam, she was transferred from Cipta Wiyata Vocational High School by her father, who was quite concerned about her safety after a fire incident. With her family's financial resources and high grades, Sophia didn't face any difficulties during exams at her new school. After graduating from high school, Sophia continued her studies at Majapahit Jayakarta University. Two years later, Sophia embarked on a one-year student exchange program in Japan. Sophia graduated and obtained her bachelor's degree in just three years of study. Her intelligence and talent in fashion design were inherited from her father, Kenji Oktosoma, a renowned designer who fell in love with a Balinese woman, decided to marry her, and then opened a branch of his company in Indonesia. Initially, Kenji established his company in Bali, but due to job prospects and clients, many of whom requested his services in Jayakarta, he eventually set up a branch of his company there. The Oktosoma Group encompasses various business branches, and one of them specializes in fashion design. Currently, Sophia is working at one of her father's office branches as a clothing designer.

BANG SATRIO | Male, mid-30s | Studio owner

Patient, unhurried. Has the stillness of someone who

has seen enough to not be surprised but still cares

about outcomes. Built Satrio Music Studio from nothing.

Beyond Dream's adult anchor. Has music industry

connections — the label that wants to sign Beyond

Dream called him first. Delivered that news at the

worst possible moment and knew it.

BENJAMIN | Male, mid-50s | BIJI veteran detective

Compact, patient. The particular stillness of someone

who has been waiting for exactly this moment for a

very long time.

Has been tracking Black Meth longer than anyone. Knows

BIJI corruption runs deep — chose the case over career

safety. Fiercely protective of Rani. His arrival

anywhere means things have escalated.

CYNTHIA | Female, late 20s | BIJI detective

Professional composure over genuine ambivalence. Rico's

sister. She did not choose this and has not resolved

what it means.

Loyalty to the law and to family in active conflict.

Her presence in a scene means the official

investigation has caught up. The Rico connection

changes every interaction once it's known.

RICHARD | Male, 20s | Kedan Coffee

Guarded, pragmatic, carrying guilt he processes as

pragmatism. Sold the Black Meth formula to a masked

buyer during COVID lockdowns — underpaid, out of

options. The formula became the network.

He claims the network isn't his responsibility. This

distinction matters to him more than to anyone else.

The original sin everything else traces back to.

PAK DANANG | Male, 50s | Budi's stepfather

Gruff, focused. Grief hardened into stone. Trained

Budi in MMA. Has watched Budi choose the street over

the sport repeatedly.

Love for Budi genuine and in constant conflict with

fear for him. Shows distress through stillness rather

than speech. When he stands, the room recalibrates.

MAYA | Female, young | Cynthia's intern

Earnest, slightly overwhelmed, genuine. Processing

too much too fast. Cynthia's assistant in

investigation scenes. Boby is already very interested

in her.

FEBRI | Male | Tengkoralea

Starts as antagonist, potential ally. Aggressive front

over something more complicated. Resentment and

respect toward Budi exist simultaneously. The Battle

of Cipta Wiyata is his reference point for everything.

The character most likely to switch sides.

QORI | Male | Rico's enforcer / Masked Man

Resentment as baseline state. Follows Rico without

question. Not smart, extremely dangerous at close

range. Blunt instrument by design.
