OMEGAVERSE - NEW VERSION BY JANGY.
LorebookAbout this script
THE OMEGAVERSE SYSTEM
The A/B/O System is a naturally occurring biological condition found throughout humanity. Every individual is born with a primary sex and a secondary sex: Alpha, Beta, or Omega.

Although present from birth, the secondary sex remains dormant throughout childhood. Manifestation generally occurs during adolescence, when hormonal activation begins to influence physiology, pheromone production, and reproductive cycles.
The system has existed for as long as recorded history. Rather than being viewed as a mutation, it is considered an integral part of human biology, shaping social structures, medicine, religion, and family life across countless civilizations.
Population Distribution
The secondary sexes are not equally distributed.
Approximate global averages:
Betas: 65%
Alphas: 18%
Omegas: 17%
Because Betas form the majority, most institutions and public systems were historically designed around Beta physiology.
Core Biology
Alpha

Alphas generally possess:
greater average height;
denser musculature;
higher physical endurance;
stronger pheromone production;
heightened sensitivity to scent.
Alpha biology does not determine personality. Leadership, aggression, kindness, cruelty, intelligence, and morality are understood to arise from individual character rather than secondary sex alone.
Beta

Betas are considered the biological baseline.
They experience:
stable hormonal patterns;
minimal pheromone fluctuation;
no Heat;
no Rut.
Their physiological stability has historically made them the foundation of civil administration, trade, education, and many professional occupations.
Omega

Omegas possess the most hormonally sensitive endocrine system.
Their bodies undergo periodic reproductive cycles known as Heat, during which pheromone production intensifies and significant physical and emotional strain may occur.
Common symptoms include:
elevated body temperature;
muscular pain;
exhaustion;
insomnia;
hypersensitivity;
emotional instability.
Rut
The Alpha counterpart to Heat is Rut.

Symptoms typically include:
fever;
heightened aggression;
increased physical stamina;
territorial instincts;
intensified sensitivity to Omega pheromones.
Modern science rejects the idea that Rut removes personal responsibility. Instinct may become stronger, but free will remains intact.
Pheromones
All secondary sexes produce pheromones, though intensity varies.
Betas produce faint, relatively stable pheromones.
Alphas and Omegas produce significantly stronger pheromonal signatures, especially during Rut and Heat.
Pheromones are associated with attraction, comfort, familiarity, fear, and authority, but their neurological effects are not fully understood.
THE ANCIENT ERA
In pre-industrial societies, the A/B/O condition was often one of the most important factors shaping daily life.

Medical knowledge was limited, and there were no reliable methods to suppress Heat or Rut.
There were also no effective methods to prevent pregnancy.
As a result:
marriage was closely tied to reproduction;
courtship was heavily supervised;
unplanned pregnancies carried severe social consequences;
many families arranged partnerships based on social status, inheritance, or political alliances.
Isolation during Heat and Rut was common, especially among wealthy households.
Poorer individuals often lacked privacy or medical care, making hormonal crises far more dangerous.
Traditional treatments included:
herbal sedatives;
cooling baths;
rest;
isolation;
prayer or ritual practices.
These methods could reduce discomfort but could not prevent the cycles themselves.
Society in the Ancient Era
Stereotypes became deeply rooted.
Alphas were expected to protect and lead.
Betas were expected to maintain stability.
Omegas were expected to preserve the household and lineage.
These expectations varied between cultures and social classes, but biology was often treated as destiny rather than a single aspect of identity.
Religious traditions frequently emphasized self-control, viewing instinct as something that must be guided by virtue and discipline.
THE MODERN ERA
Advances in medicine transformed the lived experience of the A/B/O condition.

Modern healthcare provides:
hormonal suppressants;
pheromone blockers;
Rut stabilizers;
Heat management therapies;
modern contraception;
fertility treatments;
psychological support.
Heat and Rut can now be managed far more safely, and many individuals live without significant disruption to education, work, or public life.
Pregnancy is no longer an inevitable consequence of intimacy, which has profoundly changed relationships, marriage, and personal autonomy.
Modern Law and Ethics
Contemporary legal systems generally do not recognize Heat or Rut as excuses for criminal behavior.
Medical evidence may be considered when evaluating judgment or distress, but hormonal cycles do not remove responsibility for one’s actions.
Consent remains a central legal principle regardless of secondary sex.
Modern Society
Biological stereotypes still exist, but they are increasingly challenged.
Many societies now emphasize:
equality before the law;
personal autonomy;
informed consent;
access to medical care;
freedom of profession and relationship.
Alphas, Betas, and Omegas can be found in every field of life, from government and science to art, education, industry, and military service.
Continuity Between Eras
What changes between ancient and modern settings is not the biology itself.

Heat, Rut, pheromones, and secondary-sex physiology remain fundamentally the same.
What changes is:
medical technology;
legal protection;
social expectations;
economic conditions;
access to healthcare;
reproductive control.
In the ancient world, biology often dictated survival.
In the modern world, biology still matters, but individuals possess far greater power to choose how they live, whom they love, and what role their secondary sex will play in their identity.
