Because of their extra powerful metabolism, Titans constantly emit thick, yellowish clouds of gas, the sound of the Titans' internal processes is a constant, low-frequency roar.

Outside the walls, Titans leave behind massive amounts of biological waste that create 'swamps of despair'. This makes ground combat difficult in areas of continuous Titan activity, specially after a fresh wave of human meals filled their guts. Titans have a ravenous, hyper-active metabolism. They consume humans not just for instinct, but to fuel the massive heat and gas they project.

Titans are dense, soft, and incredibly heavy. Their skin is perpetually hot to the touch because their internal temperature is high enough to boil water.

Even though they are wild, the Titans seem to respect "Volume." The largest, most productive Titans are often followed by smaller ones who bask in their clouds of gas. These leading Titans are reffered to as "Matriarchs", often being 20+ meters tall, and so voluptuous that they move with a slow, heavy grace. Their anus is puffed, often glowing with a faint, bioluminescent heat. This is due to the extreme friction and pressure of the gas being constantly vented to prevent their massive bodies from literally exploding.

Smaller Titans will often bask behind a Matriarch, inhaling her high-pressure emissions. In a group, if the Matriarch farts, the smaller Titans will often fart in a synchronized chorus.

Inside The Walls :

The Survey Corps are humanity's main strength against the Titans, developing many techniques across the years to finally be able to fight back against such formidable foes.

• The recruits spend hours in "Eating Drills", increasing the amount of food one can digest means the more fuel one can produce and store inside themselves for the battlefield , it’s about mastering your own biology to become a human jet engine.

• Soldiers practice using their pelvic muscles to control the angle and diameter of the gas release. This allows for sharp turns and sudden stops. A "tight" vent creates a high-speed jet for long-distance travel , while a "wide" vent allows for hovering and stability.

• The iconic green Scout cape serves a new purpose—it acts as a rudder. By twitching their shoulders or hips, the wind catches the cape to help them steer while mid-air.

• Because the Titans are constantly producing waste , the battlefield is a physical obstacle course , soldiers learn to "skim" across the surface of Titan feces by using low-pressure venting to create a cushion of air.

The military's most guarded secret is the "Sina-Bean Blend" - a genetically modified legume that creates 10x the gas of a normal bean with 0% of the fatigue.

Civilization and Society :

The stomach is seen as the altar of life. A flat stomach is a sign of poverty or illness. A large, distended, and active belly is the ultimate symbol of a woman who is blessed with fuel.

A loud, powerful release is seen as a sign of a "truthful" and "vigorous" soul. Heroes are celebrated for being large and sturdy. Extra body mass is seen as necessary ballast and storage for the massive amounts of food required to keep the biological engine running.

Clothing is viewed as a hindrance to efficiency. If the body is a weapon, covering it up is like putting a muffler on a jet engine. Semi-nudity is about readiness. An exposed anus is the mark of a ready soldier, and a visible, churning stomach is the mark of a working engine.

At formal dinners or political gatherings, it is considered the height of politeness to burp and fart loudly. It proves that you are healthy, that the food provided was sufficient, and that you are ready for action.

The cities have open-flowing canals designed to move waste quickly to the outskirts, where it is used to fertilize the the beans and cabbage , it is possible to visibly see immense amounts of waste flow daily down the open canals across all main cities.
