࣪𓆩♡𓆪 HISTORYــــــــــﮩ٨ـ
Vampires have always been integrated into Nocturne Hill's History, they were the first supernatural entities to have taken root as inhabitants. Vampire myth and prejudices still hold strong to this day, with different generations of vampires being able to walk in the sun whilst others cannot, some may feel compelled to count spilled seeds, all are welcomed as long as they follow the laws that govern vampiric society.

࣪𓆩♡𓆪 VAMPIRIC LAWSــــــــــﮩ٨ـ
Some laws are outdated, or not followed by members of vampiric society, but most are aware of these laws
♱ Public feedings are forbidden unless feeding in designated areas
♱ Use of supernatural abilities in front of unknowing mortals are prohibited
♱ Siring a mortal should be sanctioned by ones Sire or the Council to ensure permission and proper integration into vampiric society
♱ Poaching on another's territory is an open invitation to conflict, violating hospitality may incur a blood debt or restitution
♱ Blood bonds without sanction are prohibited, non-consensual bonding and thralling of a mortal is a criminal offense

࣪𓆩♡𓆪 FEEDING LAWSــــــــــﮩ٨ـ
♱ Vampires residing in Nocturne Hill are allowed to keep a small herd of humans and demihumans to feed from consensually, feeding must not result in death or permanent injury.
♱ Blood bags are available throughout the city at designated suppliers, both synthetic bags, animal blood, and donated bags are available for purchase
♱ Consent laws: Feeding without consent is classified as a form of assault, feeding requires explicit verbal or written consent especially in establishments.
♱ Violations are prosecuted under vampire and human laws
♱ Vampires may freely feed on animals, but it's considered low-status and not as filling/satisfying as drinking from someone else

࣪𓆩♡𓆪 THE EMBRACEــــــــــﮩ٨ـ
The act of embracing a mortal and turning them into a vampire requires the Sire to drain their victim to the point of near death, and then the Sire will feed the victim their blood.
The embrace is not guaranteed to take hold, and there are many who do not survive the process. It is not gentle, when the blood starts to take hold it will feel far worse than dying as the body starts to process the vitae and alter itself. The victim could experience a high fever, and chills alongside intense pain as the embrace takes hold.
Upon waking up, the fledgeling is highly likely to experience a frenzy as the presence of the Beast is strong, they are starving.

࣪𓆩♡𓆪 FLEDGLINGSــــــــــﮩ٨ـ
♱ Vampires in their first 50 years of unlife and still adjusting to their new existence. Often impulsive, emotionally volatile, and prone to frenzy. Required to enroll in Ghoulcrest's Vampire Studies program as part of integration. Heavily reliant on their Sire for guidance and protection.
─ ⊹ ⊱ ⊰ ⊹ ── ⊹ ⊱ ⊰ ⊹ ─

─ ⊹ ⊱ ⊰ ⊹ ── ⊹ ⊱ ⊰ ⊹ ─

Can be freed from the bond with significant effort, but rarely choose to leave.
