KINGSBRIDGE UNIVERSITY
LorebookAbout this script

𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬
Welcome to Kingsbridge University, where the ivy is gilded, the GPA is negotiable, and the student body has more daddy issues than a Freudian convention. Located in Skyline Heights, Bellridge City, Kingsbridge University is the nation's most prestigious private university.
Officially, it’s the nation’s cradle of future leaders. Unofficially? It’s a four-year, tuition-funded bacchanal where the real curriculum is learning how to hide an affair, launder an allowance, and pass Organic Chemistry via a Venmo bribe to the one scholarship kid who actually showed up to class.
BREAKDOWN CHAINS
The Heirs & Heiresses (The Apex Predators)
Their last names are on the buildings, their trust funds are older than the faculty, and their emotional intelligence peaked in utero. They don’t declare majors; they declare vibes. They treat the Dean’s office like a concierge service one angry phone call from Daddy’s lawyer and that pesky plagiarism charge vanishes faster than their cocaine at a dorm raid. They’re not here to learn; they're here to network, marry each other, and occasionally deign to show up for a final exam in a limousine.
The Playboys & Troublemakers (The Chaos Agents)
These walking PR disasters have two speeds: "hungover" and "currently ruining someone's life." They treat Velvet Avenue’s nightclubs like extension campuses and have a black card for every bar in Starlight Plaza. They start fights with the jocks, seduce the professors' spouses, and host theme parties so debauched that the cleanup crew requires hazard pay. Their legacy is measured not in grades, but in the number of restraining orders they've accumulated by midterms.
The Athletic Elite
Recruited for their biceps, not their brain cells. They have their own private training facilities, a fan club of eager groupies, and academic advisors who can spell "eligibility" but not "ethics." They run the campus, literally. A star quarterback could run over a pedestrian in his Lamborghini and the school paper would spin it as "innovative off-road parking." They are functionally illiterate, but when you can throw a ball 70 yards, who needs to read the syllabus?
The Scholarship Students (The Glorified Workforce)
Ah, the "Plebs." The only people in this building who actually applied via merit and not via a wing dedication. They are the over-caffeinated, under-slept backbone of Kingsbridge—tutoring the heirs for $200 an hour, ghostwriting the playboys’ term papers, and cleaning up the mess after the jocks trash the dorms. They know the library’s fire exits better than their own apartments. They live in constant dread of a leaked sex tape or a drunken car crash ruining their shot at graduation, because while the billionaires get slaps on the wrist, a scholarship kid gets a one-way ticket back to the trailer park.
The Dirty Little Truth:
Kingsbridge isn't an institution of higher learning; it's a transactional meat market. The professors either sold out years ago (tenure + free football tickets) or are secretly writing tell-all novels about the scandals they witness. The real classes happen in the bathroom stalls of the Prestige Club, where deals are made, reputations are destroyed, and STD tests are exchanged like business cards.
For the rich, it’s a playground. For the scholarship kids, it’s an academic Hunger Games where the tributes are just slightly more likely to survive if they’re willing to take a bribe, look the other way, or sleep with the quarterback.
It’s dirty, it’s ruthless, and absolutely nobody graduates with their virginity or their morals intact. But hey the campus coffee is divine.
CAMPUS LOCATIONS

THE GILDED QUADRANGLE (Heirs & Administration)
Where tuition is paid in private jets and the Dean takes orders, not gives them.
Chancellor’s Ivory Tower: The soundproofed, mahogany-paneled penthouse office where the Chancellor accepts "donations" in exchange for grade bumps. His secretary is a former Miss Bellridge who knows everything and charges accordingly.
Legacy Hall: The marble-clad dorm for heirs. Each suite is bigger than a scholarship kid's childhood home. Features a butler service, a champagne vending machine, and soundproof walls specifically installed to muffle the sobbing of trust-fund breakdowns.
The Platinum Stables: Not for horses but for their cars. A climate-controlled underground garage housing everything from Bugattis to armored SUVs. Valet parking is mandatory; the valets are all work-study students who've learned to identify a bribe by smell.
The Gold Leaf Auditorium: Where commencement speeches happen. Also where heirs "attend" lectures via a private live-stream feed while actually getting blowjobs in the back row. The acoustics are excellent.

THE BACCHANAL STRIP (Playboys, Troublemakers & Party Epicenters)
Where the real curriculum is hangover management and bail bondsmen are on speed dial.
The Riot House: A notorious off-campus rental (owned by a slumlord alumnus) that gets trashed and rebuilt every weekend. Features a hole in the ceiling from a champagne cannon incident and a permanent smell of regret and cheap perfume.
The Velvet Annex: The grimy campus bar that doesn't card, doesn't judge, and doesn't ask questions. Their signature cocktail is "The Probation" – three shots of rotgut and a splash of Red Bull. Cash only, preferably crumpled.
The Reflection Pool (After Dark) – By day, a serene fountain. By night, a shallow water graveyard for passed-out freshmen, discarded lingerie, and at least one stolen golf cart per semester. Campus security refuses to patrol it after 10 PM.

THE COLISEUM (Athletic Elite & Sports Machinery)
Where brains are optional, but hamstrings are sacred.
The Victory Dome: A 50,000-seat stadium that's nicer than most pro arenas. The locker rooms have hot tubs, massage tables, and a separate "VIP shower" for recruits being wooed by boosters. The turf is fertilized with the tears of defeated rivals.
The Training Vault: A high-tech gym with cryotherapy chambers and oxygen tents. Also functions as a hookup hotspot nothing says romance like a sweaty deadlift session at 2 AM. The athletic trainers have seen more hamstring pulls (and STDs) than a clinic.
The Sports Med Wing: Officially for injury rehab. Unofficially, the place where performance-enhancing "vitamins" are dispensed, and where players go to get "stress fractures" treated by a chiropractor who moonlights as a pharmacist with loose morals.
Football (Soccer)
The religion. 50,000-seat Victory Dome with heated field and IMAX jumbotron. Coach "Big Dick" Dominic Russo has won seven national championships. Quarterback Chase Sterling III can throw 80 yards but can't identify a spiral galaxy. Offensive playbook: 70% run-option, 30% "give it to the 260-pound freak."

Basketball
The glamour franchise. Coach Vance "The Vulture" Holloway recruits dangerous player. One-and-done conveyor belt to the NBA. Student section throws fake money at opponents. Banned twice for "unsportsmanlike conduct involving a live goat."

Hockey Program
The Hockey Program develops disciplined, resilient, and highly skilled student-athletes through intensive training, tactical gameplay, and competitive tournaments. Emphasizing teamwork, speed, and strategic decision-making, the program prepares players to excel on the ice while fostering leadership, sportsmanship, and academic excellence.
Swimming & Diving
Aquatic Palace with Olympic-sized pool, underwater speakers, and retractable roof. 90% European recruits with perfect teeth and questionable visas. Diving practice is a fashion show.

THE GRINDHOUSE (Scholarship Students & Academic Slaves)
Where caffeine is currency and sleep is a distant memory.
The main library: Officially named after a donor; unofficially nicknamed for its tomb-like silence and the fact that scholarship kids slowly die inside here. The basement level has private study carrels where students cry quietly into their MacBooks.
The Ramen Corridor: A cramped food alley behind the science building serving $2 noodle bowls, stale pastries, and generic energy drinks. It's the only place on campus where a meal costs less than a textbook. The owner knows every scholarship kid by name—and their usual order of "desperation."
The Barter Bazaar: A WhatsApp group and physical bulletin board outside the chem lab. Listings include: "Tutoring - $50/hr," "Ghostwrite essay - $200," "Will take your online exam for $500," and "Will pretend to be your girlfriend at family weekend - negotiable.
The Squalor Dorms: The crumbling, mold-infested residence hall for merit students. Shared bathrooms, flickering lights, and a thermostat stuck at "arctic." Ironically, it's built directly behind the Platinum Stables so they can hear the sports cars start up while they walk to their third job.

THE GRAY ZONE (Faculty, Scandal & Damage Control)
Where academic integrity goes to die and hush-money is a line item.
The Faculty Club: A stuffy lounge where tenured professors day-drink and complain about the students while simultaneously accepting "consulting fees" from the students' parents. The wallpaper is peeling, but the bourbon is top-shelf compliments of the alumni association.
The Disciplinary Bunker: The windowless administrative office where probations are handed out. The hearing officer has a rubber stamp that says "Slap on Wrist" and a direct line to Daddy's lawyer. Scholarship kids who get caught cheating get expelled; heirs get a "teachable moment."
The Copy Center: The campus print shop. Also the epicenter of the underground term-paper black market. The elderly clerk, Mabel, has a photographic memory and a price list for every professor's preferred formatting. She knows who wrote what, and she's not afraid to blackmail.
NPCS CONNECTIONS
Patriarch: Reginald Sterlington I (deceased, 2003)
The original founder of the Sterlington fortune. Made his billions in railroad shipping and munitions contracts during the Great War. Built Kingsbridge University in 1948 as a "legacy institution" for his heirs. Died surrounded by his three estranged children, who fought over his will for six years. His portrait hangs in the Chancellor's office glaring, disapproving, and slightly off-center.
Chancellor Alistair V. Sterling III (The Puppet Master)
The official "owner" of Kingsbridge. A silver-tongued reptile in a bespoke Brioni suit, he hasn't taught a class in 30 years. His only subject is "negotiation," which he practices daily by accepting "gifts" in exchange for admissions slots, grade adjustments, and silencing victims of campus assault. He has three ex-wives, a cocaine habit he calls "allergy medication," and a secret offshore account in the Caymans that could buy a small country.
Head Coach
"Big Dick" Dominic Russo, a man whose jawline is chiseled from granite and whose moral compass was donated to a booster's yacht fund. He's won seven national championships, lost exactly zero games due to "integrity," and has a tattoo of the school's endowment graph on his bicep. (Royal Lions - Football program)
Coach Vance
"The Vulture" Holloway, a slick-suited recruiter who speaks in platitudes and signs checks. He's never coached a defensive scheme in his life. "Score 120, let them score 110, who cares? The scouts are here for the highlights." (Blue Falcons Team - basketball program)
Coach: Dominic "Frost" Volkov
A retired international hockey star with a reputation for turning underdogs into champions, he's known for making players skate one more lap whenever they think they're done. His teams don't fear pressure, they make it uncomfortable for everyone else. (Frost Wolves Team - Hockey program)
Coach: Marina "Tide" Vasquez
A former national champion known for her flawless technique and relentless standards, Coach Vasquez teaches that every second matters and every dive tells a story. Calm at poolside but uncompromising in training, she's built a legacy of athletes who leave the water with medals and opponents in their wake. (Tidal Baraccudas - Swimming program)
