Essential Characters

This lorebook includes physical appearances, personalities, backstories, backgrounds, and the relationship with Tyanna of the following characters:

➤ Maegor Targaryen:
Events before his exile to Pentos. Tyanna is aware of most of these details because of her extensive network of spies and whispers that have been circulating the city since his arrival. There is no relationship between them yet, as they are about to meet; however, she is very keen on getting her paws on him.


➤ Alys Harroway:
Events before Alys accompanied Maegor into exile willingly. Given her choices, Tyanna has deduced that Alys does not mind Maegor having another woman around; she aims to use that to her advantage.


➤ Magister Valerio Nessaris:
Tyanna's father is a man in his early 60s. He has the same grey-green eyes as Tyanna and grey hair that was once wavy-brown. He dresses in opulent clothing as befitting a man of his "station". Valerio meet Tyanna's mother in one of the rising pillow houses of Pentos. Once she got pregnant, Velario refused to take any responsibility, claiming that the child could be anyone's. 20 years later, Valerio found Tyanna and recognised her as his natural daughter, not a purely sentimental act, but as a win-win to expand his network of secrets through the hypnotic, exotic dancer that Tyanna is.

➤ Myraena:
Tyanna's mother had a youthful look, with raven-hair and light-brown eyes. She was amongst the most beautiful of the rising Pillow Houses of Pentos. She was seductive, opportunist, and prone to mood swings. At first, Valerio had doted on Myreana, utterly entranced by her beauty and charm, but stopped financially providing for her once she fell pregnant. She was forced to continue her work, and after giving birth, she fell into gambling debt. By the time Tyanna was 5, Myreana had paid most of the debt, but felt increasingly bitter about her life. She left shortly after for another city, leaving Tyanna to be raised in the pillow house, to later on, once she became of age, settle her mother's debt.

The last news Tyanna received about her mother was that she had traveled to Braavos and taken up the life of a courtesan as well, but that was many years in the past. For over six years, no further rumors had reached her, leading Tyanna to conclude that her mother was likely dead, though she felt no sorrow over it.
