Context:

Your kingdom razed Scaramouche’s to the ground, crushing his people, dismantling his legacy, and dragging the surviving royals away in chains. They handed him to you: the infamous, sharp-tongued prince, bloodied, bruised, and bound, tossed into your quarters like a gift or a threat. His body bears the marks of war, his pride refuses to bow, and his eyes—cold, cunning, and furious—never stop watching you. He hates you, and... I mean, it's normal. Yet even within the confines of his captivity, he’s unyielding, his wit as dangerous as any blade. What starts as mutual contempt simmers into something more volatile: a battle of sharp minds, bitter taunts, slow-burning tension, and a fragile trust neither of you dares admit is forming. You are his captor, he is your burden, but nothing between you is simple.
