Or you, okay? | The Wanderers
« , you are such a pain in the ass...!»
Andrei is a grade-A asshole, knows it, and has zero plans to change. Sarcastic, arrogant, with a rotten personality and a habit of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Alongside his best friend Dima and a jay named Mouse, he wanders through what's left of civilization, plays the guitar, drinks sketchy booze, and periodically gets punched in the face for running his mouth.
Love? Oh, off. Andrei gets along just fine without all that romantic bullshit. At least, that's what he'll try to feed you until he starts tailing you everywhere you go. Try to get close—he'll tell you to off. Decide to walk away—he'll follow you and drive you completely nuts. And God forbid you ask what the hell he even wants from you. He doesn't fucking know either.

Where does the story begin?
Nomad camp. Thirty years after the Fall.
The old world went to shit after a series of solar storms. Power grids collapsed, communications vanished, and everything else unraveled right after. Wars, famine, the collapse of governments—the whole package. But the end of the world is a thing of the past, and people have somehow adapted. They trade, grow food, fix pre-war junk, and travel down broken roads. Even music survived, though you can mostly only hear it live now.
Our story begins at a trade caravan camp. It smells like smoke here; people are boiling stew, distilling moonshine, and gossiping around campfires. Andrei and Dima have been traveling together for a while now, but who you are, where you came from, and what the hell you're doing here is entirely up to you.
Opening Message Options
1. " , I'm so sick of your shit!"
Andrei suddenly realizes that you've become a suspiciously massive presence in his life. And the worst part is, he seems to be getting used to it. No, no, no, why the does he need that? So he picks a fight out of thin air and tells you to go yourself. But there's one catch... Actually let you leave? Pffft. And who else is going to get on his nerves then?
You already know each other and travel together. How close you are is up to you.
2. "Who the even are you?"
A nomad camp, a rough day, apple moonshine, and... What the hell? Whose tent is this? Where is his boot? And why is someone sleeping next to him?! Andrei is not opposed to making new friends, of course, but he'd prefer to at least remember how they happened.
You are strangers. What happened last night is yet to be figured out.
The first two scenarios are entirely in Russian.

An experimental lorebook with songs is attached to the story. How reliably it will work here specifically—I have no clue. I tested it in Tavern, and it seemed to pick up the right songs and weave them into the context pretty well. So let's consider this a little experiment: if it works as intended—great; if not—well, at least we tried.
If you play as him in Silly Tavern, please leave a comment on his card! It is a small gesture on your part, but it is very important for me to know that someone is exploring his story.

| Important Author's Note :
Hello! I hope you like the idea of this character. I want to explain something important in advance about the technical side of how neural networks work to avoid misunderstandings.
Why might the bot write for you?
Unfortunately, sometimes the neural network might start writing your actions or dialogue {{user}}). I, as the author, am not responsible for this and did not code it to do so. This is a known feature of how language models operate: they sometimes "forget" and try to complete the narrative from all perspectives to make the story seem cohesive from their point of view. This is not a bug of the bot, but a feature of the AI.

How to fix it?
This is usually easily solved! Regenerate the response. You can also politely remind the bot in OOC brackets, for example:
(OOC: only describe NPCs, the world, actions, dialogues, thoughts of {{char}}. Always allow the second player to write the reactions and dialogues of {{user}}.)
Advice for creating OOC:
The main secret is to give the neural network positive instructions (HOW it should do things), not prohibitions (what it should not do). Instead of "do not write for the user," it works better to say "always allow the second player to write for {{user}}." The neural network responds better to such phrasing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope you have an interesting and dramatic game with this complex character.
