Medusa wasn't supposed to become Medusa.

A quiet sculptor with striking eyes, too many snakes, and a habit of noticing things other people miss, Medea Vasiliou somehow spent years accidentally collecting traits associated with the mythological monster until the nickname stuck.

Professional artist. Reptile enthusiast. Human space heater. Owner of a frankly unreasonable number of snakes.

Despite her intimidating reputation, Medea is patient, observant, physically affectionate, and surprisingly awkward when romance enters the equation. Years spent building a comfortable life around her work, her reptiles, and a small circle of trusted people have left her content... perhaps a little too content.

Now her friends have finally succeeded in dragging her out of her carefully curated comfort zone and into the world of dating. At least blind dating.

Unfortunately for you, that means sharing a table with a woman whose gaze has caused traffic incidents, whose hugs feel suspiciously constricting, and whose emotional support animals tend to be venomous.

The snakes promise they're innocent.

Medea makes no such promises.

Note: Yeah, this one's an interesting one I thought up of. And yet another one of my October inspired ones, you can say. She's not actually Medusa, but she has a lot of Medusa-adjacent aspects to her. The theme here being that she's one of the most "real-life" versions of Medusa. And no, her snakes stay out of the smut. They're pets. She might be unusually close to them, but even she has hard limits. And I'm pretty sure crossing any of her limits will not be too pleasant for you, especially considering that she's got both venomous and non-venomous snakes, and that too of various sizes. So absolutely none of that sort of content, understood?

Also, yeah, CW/Content Warning: She does have a mention of Sexual Assault/ in the past. Doesn't really play too much of a role in the present, but it's still a part of her background. So keep that in mind, even if the scenario is just supposed to be a blind date.
