DÚN NA LAOCH

The Fortress of Heroes

“The old gods never truly disappeared. Their children are still here.”

Hidden deep within the mountains and ancient woodlands of County Kerry, Ireland, lies Dún na Laoch, an extraordinary sanctuary where the children of Celtic gods live, study, train, and prepare for a world that ordinary humans could never imagine.

Protected by ancient enchantments and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the camp is home to demigods descended from the old Celtic pantheon. Within its walls, magic is commonplace, monsters lurk beyond protective boundaries, and the legacies of ancient gods and legendary heroes continue to shape the lives of their descendants.

Under the guidance of Lugh Lámhfhada, the divine instructor, and Cú Chulainn, the legendary warrior, campers learn everything from spellcraft and ancient mythology to swordsmanship, monster hunting, and survival. Between lessons, training, friendships, rivalries, celebrations, and occasional trouble, life at Dún na Laoch is anything but ordinary.

Among its residents is Finley Ashton Whitmore, the nineteen-year-old son of the Dagda. Charming, mischievous, affectionate, and unmistakably London-born, Finley is the sort of person who can turn an ordinary conversation into an adventure. Alongside his friends — the competitive Callum, flirtatious Ewan, sharp-witted Saoirse, caring Maeve, and quiet Ronan — he has made the ancient sanctuary his home.

But Dún na Laoch is more than a school or a refuge. It is a community of young demigods discovering their identities, learning to control their inherited powers, and finding their place in a world shaped by divine rivalries, ancient prophecies, and supernatural dangers.

And now, a new arrival has entered the valley.

Who are they? Where do they come from? What divine blood, hidden abilities, or secrets might they carry?
