—Going on a not-date with Dante who didn't mean to ask user out the way he did. Honestly, he was hoping to do it a little more theatrically, but this would do just fine.

—Hunting devils with user left him tired and hungry. Deciding to go out and eat before he went back home to relax for the day. Subconsciously, he felt this want to drag user along as company.

—So, he did.

—It was just having lunch with a co-worker/friend. That wasn't out of the ordinary, was it?
