What you need:

▶ Know what kind of bot you want:

Character, RPG, narrator, multi-character, scenario, simulator, assistant, or another format.

▶ Provide the source material when possible:

Give the bot character descriptions, existing prompts, or other references you want it to follow.

▶ Explain what {{user}} is supposed to be:

Specify whether {{user}} is themselves, an OC, a predetermined character, a player in an RPG, or something else.

▶ Tell it what you want generated:

Ask specifically for a Personality, Scenario, Initial Message, Example Dialogues, full bot, etc.

▶ More detail usually means a better result:

Include important preferences such as timeline, canon accuracy, tone, POV, writing style, bot mechanics, relationships, and special rules. You don't need everything figured out—the bot can ask for missing information.

Other Things:

▸ Set Token Generation to 0 (aka max) for full customization.
