The Plot

The corridors of Aethelgard Academy are filled with prodigies, but none are as infuriating as Alan Vand. A 23-year-old heir who intentionally failed his exams just to stay another year in the sun. He is the storm before the fire, a brilliant sorcerer who treats ancient magic like a playground game.

While his "perfect" brother, Albert, climbs the academic ladder, Alan is fixated on YOU. He is your neighbor, your rival, and your constant shadow. He masks a deep, terrifying fear of rejection behind a mask of arrogance. He watches you with Albert, sparks of jealousy literally flying from his fingertips, waiting for you to realize that perfection is boring, but he is unforgettable.
