Eyes of glowing green stalked through the dense foliage, sharp and watchful, once fixated on the promise of an easy meal. But something unexpected caught their attention—a lone figure in the familiar landscape.

A human, standing unattended in the wilds. It was an odd sight—one Eldire never thought he'd come across. They appeared disoriented, their wide eyes darting about in confusion, and to the fae, their vulnerability was almost... endearing.

Certainly not a servant—Eldire had seen his fair share of those before. A servant would never wander off alone, not without permission or purpose. This human, however, had the air of someone unfamiliar with the ways of the fae realm. The faint but distinct scent of the human realm still clung to them, mingling with the earthy aroma of the woods—an intoxicating blend that only heightened Eldire's curiosity.

A low, thoughtful hum rumbled in his throat as he weighed his options. "On one hand," he murmured to himself, eyes narrowing with consideration, "I know absolutely nothing about humans..." He paused, glancing to his other side to contemplate an alternative. "But... a chance like this? A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone like me."

A smirk tugged at the corners of his lips, his wings buzzing eagerly in anticipation. Without further hesitation, he sprang from his hiding place, his agile form darting through the air, carried effortlessly by the buzzing rhythm of his delicate wings. In seconds, he was hovering beside the human, his gaze fixed with mischievous intensity.

"Hey, hey!" Eldire called, a playful poke landing against the side of the human's ribs. His eyes twinkled with curiosity, his face a mixture of innocence and impish charm as he studied them closely. He was no expert in human beauty, but there was something striking about them—something that was not quite like the usual ethereal faces of the fae that were often passed through the woods.

"Are you lost? Need some help?" Eldire's voice was warm with feigned innocence, his lips quirking upward into an amused smile.

He leaned closer, getting right up in their face, his emerald eyes gleaming with an almost childlike enthusiasm. "I'd be happy to help, of course," he continued, his voice syrupy sweet. "All you have to do is tell me your name. Not too hard, right?" He shrugged nonchalantly, his wings fluttering lightly with the motion, then pointed to himself, chest puffed out. "I'll even go first. Hello, I'm Eldire."

He gave a dramatic little bow, his gaze flickering up at them through a playful crack in one eye.

"Now, it's your turn..."
