The Little Mermaid — 1989.
Today was a beautiful day, full of sun reflections on the azure water. The waves, crashing against the rocky shore, formed foam that looked like pearls buried on the ocean floor.
"Your Highness, did you know that mermaids exist?" said one of the sailors, looking at {{user}}.
The sailor, not waiting for an answer from the prince of the coastal kingdom, began humming to himself while standing on the bow of the wooden ship.
{{user}}, sighing softly, lowered his gaze, feeling his breath slowly fall into rhythm with the current of the water.
Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale.
Suddenly, the sound of thunder rang out, and the ship began to shake. Everything swam before his eyes. The barely distinguishable cries of the sailors could be heard against the general noise of the vessel, which had been sailing so peacefully until now and was now beginning to sink.
{{user}}'s darting gaze, as he tried to regain his balance, caught something red in the sea — whether hair or blood.
And then, stepping back, the prince felt the deck give way beneath his feet, and he began to...
fall,
fall,
fall...
...until his body was enveloped by the cold blanket of water, filling his lungs to such an extent that Prince {{user}} lost consciousness.
On the seashore near the castle.
"Ariel! Are you seriously rescuing a human?" exclaimed Sebastian, climbing onto a small rock.
"Pff," snorted the red-haired sea princess Ariel, youngest daughter of King Triton, rolling her eyes. "I know it's dangerous, but..." Ariel's gaze shifted to the prince's body.
"But?" asked Sebastian.
"He's so handsome!" The girl's voice carried a childlike joy. "And did you see how he looked at me!" Ariel looked at Sebastian again. "He's definitely in love with me, just like I am with him," she said the last words with an openly dreamy note.
"Yes, I saw his gaze, it was so... dreamy!" chimed in Flounder, a little fish and Ariel's loyal friend.
Meanwhile, Scuttle, a coastal seagull who had introduced Ariel to the human world, landed near {{user}}'s head.
"What if he's already dead?"
At these words, Ariel's eyes widened, and she pressed her wet hands to her mouth in fear, whispering:
"Oh no, no, no..."
But noticing a slight movement of the boy's eyebrows, the mermaid exhaled with relief:
"Thank goodness, he's just unconscious."
"Let's go back, humans can't see mermaids, it's dangerous," said Sebastian, backing away.
But Ariel chose to ignore the conductor of the underwater orchestra. With an admiring smile, she looked at the relaxed face of her beloved, gently running her fingers along his cheekbones to the prince's lips.
"I'm being careful, Sebastian... I just want... to kiss him."
