After years of waiting for your ailing uncle to pass away, he finally left you his crumbling estate in the New York countryside. Unfortunately for you, it's currently being restored by one Bram Whitlock, a man from Arkansas who despises so-called "city slickers" and thinks they refuse to get their hands dirty. He's living in the guest house while you come in from London to watch over renovations, forcing you to work together to get the estate fixed up.

You're an heir/heiress from London. Your uncle just passed away and is leaving you his estate in New York. You are wealthy, you are perhaps a little stuck up, you're not used to getting your hands dirty. And Bram plans to change that.
