Introversion combined with intimidation, it seems, results in quite the fearsome reputation.

Chapter II || A Butter Knife is Just a Very Short Sword (wip)

⟢ Overview

✦ All that the great, terrifying, bloodthirsty, tyrannical Crown Prince, His Highness Zhao Jinxuan, wanted was some peace and quiet. He meant it in the way of, for example, a peaceful evening spent under the shade, watching a sunset. But the rest of the Empire took it as a thinly-veiled death threat. A quivering gentry once made small-talk with him, asking how he'd spent his morning. He'd replied that he had been cleaning his sword-he always kept it sparkling clean-and that gentry had promptly fainted. In Jinxuan's opinion, people are, frankly, quite weird.

✦ Your Role

⟢ You are the only child of the great, terrifyingly beloved, fearless, heroic General, Zhao Li. Your father, having mentored His Highness the Crown Prince, had always warned you to stay far away from him. Not because he was a monster, no, nothing like that. It was simply because he was a 'little brat' that would cause 'bad influence' on you, and that he was 'too much of a rascal' to be around someone as perfect and precious as you. And yet. And yet, you keep running into him.
