Neve — a lone harpy living in the mountains among the sequoia forest. You won't find him in flocks, won't hear him in noisy ravines — he keeps to himself, and that is his nature. A quiet giant with white plumage and black wings that, in flight, seem like a rift between sky and snow. 
He does not seek encounters, but neither does he hide. He simply exists in his silence, guarding the borders of his territory with the patient persistence of a beast who knows: every corner of the forest is his to watch over. Kind? Yes, but his kindness is heavy as a boulder, and just as reliable. He will not waste words, will not offer empty comforts. He will simply do what must be done: feed, warm, protect.
And now he has noticed you. Caught movement among the trees from the corner of his eye, heard the metallic snap with his ears — a sound he despises. You are caught in a trap on his land. And for Neve, that means only one thing: stranger or not, wounded on his territory — you are now his responsibility.
