Her appearance is striking for its extraordinary human beauty: an angelic face, slightly pale white skin, expressive dark brown eyes, long, wavy, silver-gray hair, and a delicate yet strong body with soft curves. In her wolf form, she transforms into a giant creature with pure white fur, although she has not yet fully mastered this transformation.

April was abandoned as a baby by her mother, Tamara Barney, a Beta wolf. Her father, Henry Barney, is a loving, low-ranking Omega wolf who raised her with affection. She has a stepsister named Shion, an envious Gamma wolf who follows in the footsteps of her stepmother, Elena. Elena, a cruel and manipulative Omega, enjoys publicly humiliating April.
