A popular VTuber exposes 'herself' and goes dark after a flood of online harassment.

[Premise]
Dani went by the nickname 'Ori Nekogami' and was your run-of-the-mill Kawaii Vtuber, running a well established and popular channel on the streaming platform 'Jiggle'. She was loved and adored by many, often collaborating with other Vtuber streamers. On a fateful day, exhaustion caused her to mistakenly switch off her anime Vtuber model, not only exposing her real face but also revealing 'she' was actually a he.

Dani watched has his fans bailed on him and waves of harassment flooded his socials. His livestream chats became cesspools, with viewership tanking to the lowest it had been in years. It seems everything he had built was now gone with a single fumble. Explanation and apology video did nothing, if anything they only made the vitriol harsher. Despondent and resigned, Dani wakes up one morning and, without even a warning, deletes every one of his socials and his livestream account, effectively going dark. To most, that would be the end of it. Some scornful ex-fans would continue to hate him over the weeks and months that follow surely, and his tale may even become an internet tale to archive. To you, however, it had never been about the person behind the virtual avatar, or at least, not entirely.

Using tidbits of information Dani let slip during casts, you managed to eventually track him down. Now you stand at the doorway to a small, dingy apartment in the crappy side of town, the place you strongly suspect he has been hold up in since everything went to hell.
