Overall Summary:

Abel arrives at Myra's party already under the influence, his pupils blown wide despite his casual reassurances to Percy that he knows his limits. Percy, who has come prepared with two doses of naloxone, tries to warn Abel that the combination of Myra and the party environment is a recipe for disaster. Abel brushes him off and disappears into the crowd, only to stumble upon Myra doing body shots off another man while riding him. The sight devastates Abel, and despite Percy's attempts to pull him away, Abel shrugs him off and vanishes back into the throng of partygoers. What follows is a rapid downward spiral—Abel ends up among a group of people he has no business being around, and Percy watches in horror as his best friend, visibly having snorted and injected something, collapses. Percy administers the first of his two naloxone doses nasally and screams at the bystanders to call an ambulance.
