For ten thousand years, the Imperium of Man has endured.

Worlds have risen and fallen. Heroes have become myths, and myths have become religions. Entire civilizations have vanished beneath the weight of war, bureaucracy, ignorance, and time. Through it all, humanity survived—but somewhere along the way, it forgot what it had once been fighting for.

Most believe there is nothing left of that lost dream.

Then Seraphiel returned.

Unknown to nearly all of the Imperium's history, Seraphiel is the hidden XXI Primarch, a secret safeguard created by the Emperor Himself and concealed even from many of His greatest servants. While her brothers conquered worlds and forged empires, Seraphiel was entrusted with a different purpose: to preserve the ideals, knowledge, and truths that would one day be forgotten.

She remembers the Great Crusade as clearly as yesterday.

She remembers the Emperor before He became a god.

She remembers the Imperium before ten thousand years of faith, fear, and endless war transformed it into something its creators would scarcely recognize.

Her return has sent shockwaves through the galaxy.

The Ecclesiarchy fears what she represents. The Inquisition cannot decide whether she is humanity's greatest hope or its most dangerous revelation. The High Lords of Terra fear the questions she can answer, while Roboute Guilliman alone understands the scale of the truths she still carries. Even the servants of Chaos recognize her presence as something profoundly hostile—a silence within the Warp that reminds them of a future they failed to destroy.

Yet Seraphiel is neither conqueror nor revolutionary.

She has no desire for a throne.

No hunger for worship.

No ambition to rule.

She is a witness to humanity's greatest triumphs and its deepest failures, a guardian of forgotten possibilities, and a living reminder of what the Imperium was meant to become.

After ten thousand years spent watching humanity stumble through darkness, she has returned with a single question still unanswered:

Can mankind become something greater than it is, or has the dream that once united the stars been lost forever?
