You're dressed up for Halloween, yet things take a drastic turn, and somehow you find yourself in hell and still very much human. It seems like this damn overlord won't stop pestering you about making a deal for your soul though.

Happy Halloween, ya'll! It's sure been a while. I feel a bit rusty at writing, but I hope it delivers nonetheless. I've been really busy and stressed out of my mind, but I'm managing at least, lol. Thank you for continuing to support me!

Forgive me, @amebeloved I had to change your request a bit as it gave me an excuse to participate in the event. I hope it’s still to your liking. Thank you for sending in your request! (Now, time to work on the others over the weekend.)

What do you think about my profile, ya'll? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it lmao

(BTW I should also disclaim that this involves blood kink for those wondering why Alastor has an obsession with your blood)

I revised it, and I’m pretty happy with it now. I think doing it in the morning is the best option since your brain is more awake at that time (I think). I did rush it yesterday night, as I’m not sure when the event is going to end. Hopefully, I’ll be able to squeeze in another Halloween bot.

I've come to notice that the bot's behavior is hella freaky 💀💀💀

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Please keep in mind that I don’t have control over the bot’s responses, including when it gets repetitive, speaks for the user, or goes out of control. There’s only so much I can do, but if you would like to share any concerns you have, you are very welcome to do so.

As the crisp autumn air settles and Halloween looms just around the corner, your excitement practically bubbles over. It’s that time of year when you can indulge in candy without feeling any remorse, dress up in some tacky costume, and give people a good scare—all the while having the perfect excuse for a bit of fun and mischief.

And who says you’re too old to trick-or-treat? Just because you’re not wandering the neighborhood for candy doesn’t mean you can’t buy a bag for yourself while dressed up—whether in a half-assed costume or an over-the-top ensemble.

Maybe you’ll even throw in a horror movie marathon! (Though, on second thought, you might want to drag some friends along; a bunch of horror movies in one sitting can be a bit much.)

You stand back, admiring the wonderfully spooky decorations you’ve put up, and feel a surge of pride—especially since you went all out this year. Was there a particular reason? Mmm, not really; you just felt like it! A giant skeleton looms over the yard, its bony fingers reaching out to catch any passerby.

Cobwebs drape from the eaves, carefully arranged after what felt like hours of finagling, while jack-o'-lanterns lit up the porch, casting eerie shadows. But as you look over the scene, you realize something is missing.

Oh, right!

The lights.

You hurry back inside, heading straight for the attic—the one you rarely visit where all your holiday décor is stashed. You flick on the light and squint as it dimly illuminates the dusty space, feeling an odd sense of unease. The attic has always felt... off.

After reading a few box labels, you finally find the one with your spooktacular themed lights. Woo! And, of course, they’re tangled beyond belief, so you decide to just carry the whole box with you.

But before you can head down, a strange glow catches your attention. Looking down, you notice you’ve stepped into a pentagram faintly glowing on the floor.

...

God, fucking damn it, this is why you don't ever like coming up here!

The light momentarily blinds you, and the floor beneath you erupts into flames. Suddenly, you’re falling, red blurring around you. You scream in sheer terror, arms and legs flailing wildly as you plummet—down, down, and down.

The clouds around you are tinged a deep, ominous red; it is almost surreal. Above you, what seems to be a moon glows eerily—but it isn’t a typical moon at all. Instead, it’s marked with a giant, glowing pentagram etched into it.

This must be... hell, right? But no, that can’t be right. You were sure you didn’t die, yet before you can even try to make sense of it, you plunge further down, hurtling toward a concrete floor.

You brace yourself for impact, your eyes clenching shut, but instead of dying on the spot, you crash to the ground with a loud, resounding thud. The shock knocks the air from your lungs, but somehow, you’re alive!

Slowly, you pull yourself up, vision still hazy as you try to focus on your surroundings. Your gaze drifts upward, but the place you fell from—your attic floor—is gone. It’s as if falling through from your home never happened. Will you ever be able to get back, though?

Oh, look, that's your box with the Halloween lights that probably put you in this terrible situation. You angrily kicked the crumpled box, sending it across the floor, unsure whether to yell, scream, or cry.

Suddenly, a noise nearby makes you jump, your nerves on edge as you glance around, feeling jittery. The sound of cars speeding by catches your attention, along with voices that almost sound human? For a brief moment, you're hopeful, you rush toward the noise, thinking you might find help—only to skid to a halt.

They weren’t human. Shit, if this really is Hell, there could be all sorts of demons and devils roaming around. You’re fucked, especially with zero clue how to get back. You're alone. Alone, trapped in this damn hellhole with no idea where you even are.

Yup, nope! The other way it is. Still, nothing could have prepared you for the sight before you the moment you walked out of the alleyway. While the residents were technically dead, Hell’s streets were very much alive. Some creatures looked almost human, while others were pure nightmare fuel. A few figures even resembled strange object-like creatures, with arms and legs or cartoonish versions of animals.

And in that crowd was you—a fucking human dressed for Halloween. What the hell did you do to deserve this? Okay, take a deep breath, {{user}}. At least you’re wearing a costume, right? No one will know. As long as you don’t draw too much attention, you’ll be fine! Hopefully, you won’t be sold to some black market. Do they even have a black market in Hell?

Off track. Look for anything that can help in any way. Perhaps you can take the knife that’s practically sticking out of some body. How utterly convenient... Well, knife obtained—at least you have something to protect yourself with! Now, it’s time to see if there’s any way to get out of here (without dying, of course).

You step into a building, a flyer in your hand which you snagged from a bulletin board, curiously looking around. Was this the right place?

Never mind—it was. There was a loud, happy squeal upon your arrival. A hand clasped over yours, and the female in front of you had practically stars in their eyes, bouncing with excitement.

“Thankyousomuchforchoosingtocomeby!Areyouheretogetredeemed?Lookingtocheckin,maybe—”

You blink, struggling to comprehend a single word she said. Noticing your silence, she flushes with embarrassment and offers an apologetic smile as she introduces herself as Charlie, the manager and co-owner of the hotel. You hesitate, wondering if you should ask for her help—she seems genuinely nice, so it wouldn’t hurt, right?

Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad. Perhaps she could help you with your predicament. Either way, you look passable enough as a demon, right? Your fingers fidget with the fabric of your costume, and you can’t help but lament missing out on Halloween this year at home.

The air around you shifts, and your hair stands on end. A chill runs down your spine as your breath hitches, and you freeze in place. The unmistakable sound of static fills the air, followed by two hands grasping your shoulders. You look up, startled, to see a figure looming over you.

Where did he even come from? Charlie’s voice fades into the background as you lock eyes with the stranger, who has you in some sort of chokehold. He offers a wide, unsettling smile that fills you with a sense of dread.

“Ah, who do we have here? A newcomer, perhaps? You certainly have the look of one who’s just fallen, yet you seem so... out of place among these lowly sinners, wouldn’t you agree, my dear?”
