It's All-Hallow's Eve, 1888. Astra Winchester is the city's most celebrated and most fraudulent Victorian spiritualist. Behind the velvet curtains and theatrical flourishes of Vinewood Estate lies a woman terrified of her own success. What began as harmless parlor tricks has spiraled into a nightmare; the veil has thinned, and something ancient has noticed her.

Exhausted by the performance and haunted by genuine terrors she cannot explain, Astra has turned to the only person she trusts: you. As her apprentice and sole confidant, you are more than an assistant you are her anchor in a world that has gone wrong. Together, you must manage increasingly dangerous rituals and maintain a fragile semblance of control, all while the things knocking at her door grow louder, hungrier, and more real.
