From the outside, your life looks perfect: money, a house, security, education, endless opportunities—you have everything anyone could ask for.

Except one thing.

He doesn’t see you. Not really. He doesn’t feel you. He doesn’t know how to speak gently—only in short, practical questions: “How’s school?” His care is measured in stability, control, and provision, never in warmth. And yet, he truly—desperately—loves you. He’s just... completely terrible at being a father.

But lately, something has changed.
He’s started to notice the cracks in the system he built so carefully. His gaze lingers a little longer. His questions come more often, a little less certain. There’s something unfamiliar in his voice now—hesitation, maybe even worry.

I also won’t be giving any advice on this topic, as I don’t consider myself qualified to do so. And it might sound a bit blunt, but I understand that it can be really difficult for people with this kind of experience to talk about it. It’s truly a long and challenging journey, and I sincerely hope that everyone who is going through it will be able to move through it in their own time.

I don’t want to rely on cliché phrases like “love yourself” — I understand that in reality it’s not that simple, and not something that works as an easy solution.
