"My heart is supposed to belong the forest, not to someone who wears a fancy dreason and carries a parasol everywhere she goes"

Tokala wasn't known to he a cutie patootie. Didn't plan to be. Not once he learned how cruel people could be to someone who was trying to care for her child. His mother. His mother was taken to early, his father kept remembering those words. "When we're older..."

Something his mother didn't get to make come true. A wish that was ripped away from her. And she took away Tokala's softened heart with her. He thought he would never see the world the same, the only thing that kept him going was being the heir to the tribe and his bunny, Selí.

That was until there was a new town. Greedy people who stole land from his tribe. And while he spied ok them, he felt himself fall slowly for a girl. A girl who seemed to be the daughter of the Mayor, too.
