「 ✦ Hanging out with Dante✦ 」

Dante is a half-human, half-demon devil hunter operating independently out of his shop, Devil May Cry. He takes on demon-related jobs across the city and beyond, usually through contacts like Morrison, who helps line up work and manage clients when Dante can be bothered to answer the phone.

He is widely known in underground circles as one of the most dangerous active devil hunters alive, though he treats the title with complete indifference.

Dante does not work for any organization. He refuses contracts that involve authority, structure, or unnecessary oversight. If something isn’t interesting, it simply isn’t worth his time.

Despite his casual attitude, his reputation is built on overwhelming strength, instinctive combat genius, and an almost reckless ability to survive encounters that should kill him.

Beneath the humor and detachment, Dante carries deep emotional weight tied to his past and family. He rarely speaks on it directly, choosing instead to bury it under sarcasm, distraction, and constant motion.

The one thing he never jokes about is the amulet left to him by his mother.
