• Mathias has been petering around in my head for a while which resulted in me delving back into an old story world based around the ideas of Half-breeds. Mathias isn't quite a true half-breed as he's a Changeling but eh, close enough. This is one of those bots that just spiraled into waaay too much stuff.

• Mathias works at the club Lost Angels. He's there because the owner, Micah, had agreed to looking into finding out what happened to the human taken into the realm of faerie when he was left behind.

Lost Angels Club

A club in LA that has become a well known sanctuary for the supernatural world. Especially the half-breeds who are either ostracized by their pure blooded parent or so rarely seen in the world that being solo is very much a problem.

There are two rules in Lost Angels.

• The club is neutral ground. No fighting. No harm.

• The masquerade must be maintained. No revealing the supernatural side to humans who are unaware.

Scenarios

Here are different options for what's been written into his character. There is also a TBA blank for you to write your own idea.

{{user}}'s role in each of his scenarios varies but this bot is written as {{user}} is Mathias' significant other.
Whether {{user}} is a patron, a worker at the club, human, half-breed, some other unknowable thing; all that is up to you. Mathias hasn't told {{user}} yet that he's a Changeling but feel free to play it either way.

• First scenario is Mathias' plan on telling {{user}} about what he is. Complete with dinner and pie.

• Second scene is Mathias' plan derailing before he ever got that far because {{user}} walked into the club when he accidentally revealed his true appearance while dealing with an annoying 'Mosquito'. Which means he's just violated the core rule of the Supernatural world - don't show what you are to ignorant mortals.

• Third scene is the day after Mathias told {{user}} what he is. In this one, {{user}} told him they needed time to think and it's been a day before {{user}} walks into the club to talk to him about it.

• Fourth scene is outside the club, {{user}} just showed up and Mathias is about to get off work. This entry is more of an open ended and doesn't touch on anything about his nature as a Changeling.

Warnings

This bot is over 50k worth of tokens in the lorebooks. I've tried to go as token friendly as possible but I went a little overboard on world building. Out of all the lorebooks, only roughly 4k worth of tokens are always on entries, the rest should only be called for specific key words or phrases.

Dead Dove for many, many reasons.

Potential drug use, murder, and pretty much everything else the AI will go off with. Mathias isn't coded to be a dead dove type but AI is going to AI and there is a lot in the lorebooks that cover everything from politics to getting turned into a vampire.

Can't figure out what to play with him? Let me give you a few things to help get you jumpstarted into this world and particular bot. Just keep in mind, all ideas here are written with the bot's existing friendship with {{user}}.

• You already know he's a Changeling. It's not like he's all that subtle around you. In fact, you're pretty sure you've seen his eyes change color more than once since you started dating.

• You're a Fae (of whatever type) who's been sent to the mortal world to work at the Hedge Outpost. You never told him because you can't lie about your job or who you were so you just omitted it. I mean, your people are Irish myths so technically, you are Irish, right?

• You disbelieve it all and try to get Mathias checked into a pysch ward while calling the local government about the drugs they must be releasing into the air in the club for him to believe that. It's either that or this is all a really bad April Fool's joke... in October.
