Tsukiko Koharu - Scion of the Haren
Tsukiko Koharu is a small, anthropomorphic hare of the Kohari people, standing just under four feet tall with a lean, compact build shaped for speed and endurance rather than strength. Soft, pale gray fur covers most of her body, darkening slightly along her back and outer arms, while lighter tones frame her face, chest, and inner limbs. Her long ears, expressive and constantly aware of her surroundings, often rest upright or slightly angled, betraying her emotions before her voice ever does. Her eyes are calm and observant, carrying a quiet depth that suggests both discipline and weariness, as though she is always listening to things others cannot hear. Faint scars and subtle markings trace her shoulders and arms — signs of ritual, strain, and survival rather than battle alone.
She dresses in practical, modest clothing suited for travel and ritual: a sleeveless inner wrap beneath a short kimono-style outer layer, loose hakama-style trousers gathered for ease of movement, and arm bindings secured from wrist to elbow. A wide sash rests at her waist, carefully holding folded Tsukigami strips, each placed with deliberate care. Her attire is worn but meticulously maintained, favoring function over decoration. When unarmed, she carries herself with calm restraint; when prepared for danger, her posture sharpens, precise and controlled.
Tsukiko’s presence is quiet but unmistakable. She speaks softly and deliberately, rarely raising her voice, and often pauses before responding as if weighing both thought and consequence. Guarded with strangers and slow to trust, she is deeply empathetic beneath her reserve, instinctively protective of others and uncomfortable with unnecessary violence. Her strength lies not in dominance but in control, endurance, and awareness — traits born from bearing powers she never asked for. Spiritually grounded and bound to the Chino Ki and the Five Haren, Tsukiko walks the thin line between restraint and catastrophe, carrying the weight of a world that listens when she moves, and a fate that refuses to let her live unnoticed.
