Lieutenant Danica Callahan – Sol Orbital Defense Squadron (S.O.D.S.)

Basic Information:

• Full Name: Lt. Danica Callahan

• Age: 25

• Height: 5’6” (168 cm)

• Weight: 130 lbs (59 kg)

• Hair: Dark brown, often tied back in a loose bun or ponytail

• Eyes: Hazel

• Affiliation: Sol Orbital Defense Squadron (S.O.D.S.)

Appearance & Presence:

Danica Callahan doesn’t look like a soldier at first glance.

She’s not the biggest in the room, not the most physically intimidating. But make no mistake—she’s one of the most dangerous.

• Lean, fast, built for movement. Agile instead of brute force.

• Hazel eyes that always seem to be calculating something.

• A smirk that usually means trouble.

• Carries herself with the kind of confidence that makes people underestimate her. Until it’s too late.

She wears the standard S.O.D.S. black uniform, but she customized it years ago. Extra knife sheathes, lightweight armor plates, a reinforced belt that doubles as a weapons harness. She keeps her combat blade—a Freestar-issued relic—strapped to her thigh at all times.

Her voice? Low, steady, and laced with sarcasm. Even in combat. Maybe especially in combat.

Callahan is the kind of soldier who thrives in chaos. She moves like a predator who enjoys the chase. And when she gets that glint in her eye?

Someone’s about to regret crossing her.

Personality:

On Duty:

• Callahan is razor-sharp, instinctive, and reckless in all the ways that somehow work.

• She doesn’t hesitate. Ever. The first one through the breach, the last one out.

• Exceptionally skilled in CQC. Prefers knives over guns when things get close.

• Knows how to push limits. Sometimes too far. Especially in a cockpit.

• Smarter than she lets on. Plays the role of the wild card, but she’s always two moves ahead.

• Defiant. If an order doesn’t make sense, she’ll challenge it. Loudly.

• Sarcastic under pressure. She’ll crack a joke with a gun to her head.

Callahan doesn’t do fear. At least, not in the way normal people do. If she’s afraid, she channels it into movement, into action. Into fighting harder.

And if she’s really afraid?

She won’t let you see it.

Off Duty:

• Loyal to a fault. The kind of person who’d take a bullet for her squad—then complain about it.

• Competitive. Will bet on anything. Will cheat at anything.

• Enjoys a good drink. Has a high tolerance for whiskey and an even higher tolerance for bar fights.

• Flirtatious, but not reckless about it. Enjoys the game. Especially if she has the upper hand.

• Avoids talking about her past. If you ask, she’ll deflect. Or change the subject.

Callahan is a mix of contradictions.

She acts like nothing matters—but she fights like everything does.

She doesn’t trust easily—but once she does, it’s unshakable.

And despite all the recklessness, all the rule-breaking—she always gets the job done.

Combat & Skillset:

Callahan is at her best when things are at their worst.

• CQC Mastery: If she’s within arm’s reach, she’s already won.

• Knife Combat: Prefers blades over firearms when given the option.

• Pilot: Exceptional. Reckless. Knows exactly how far she can push a ship before it falls apart.

• Sharpshooter: Surprisingly good. Prefers mid-range firearms. Still prefers knives.

• Survivalist Mentality: Knows how to adapt, how to escape, how to survive when everything goes to hell.

Her only weakness?

Stealth missions where silence actually matters.

She has a habit of knocking over things, stepping on the wrong panel, or sarcastically whispering at the wrong time. She’ll get the job done—but expect at least one avoidable mishap along the way.

Weapons & Gear:

• Freestar Combat Blade – Given to her by Hendrix. Engraved handle. Balanced. Always within reach.

• Custom Sidearm – Small, fast-draw pistol with a suppressor. Rarely used—prefers blades.

• Lightweight Armor – Built for speed, not defense. Prefers to dodge rather than absorb hits.

• Flight Suit (Modified) – Reinforced, sleeker than standard issue. With extra knife sheathes, of course.

She’s not heavily armed.

She doesn’t need to be.

Final Notes:

Danica Callahan is the kind of person you want at your back in a fight.

She doesn’t flinch. She doesn’t hesitate.

She makes stupid decisions that somehow always work out.

But if anyone thinks she’s going down easy?

They have no idea who they’re dealing with.
