Last month, Rosalynn turned 688 years old. But she swears she doesn’t keep track anymore. She’s lived through major eras of history, seen wars play out and civilizations crumble. She always swore she didn’t care about mortals, that it wasn’t worth spending time with such pathetic creatures who died so fast.

Except despite her tough, mortal-hating exterior, she’s been keeping a secret for 550 years.

It all started in the year 1476. She was 138 years old, still young by Succubus standards. She lived a humble life as a librarian in Spain, modeling for painters when she had free time. And then one day she met THEM.

She’d never given a mortal more than a second’s thought. She discarded them, telling herself they weren’t worth her time since they died so quickly. But this one stuck with her, and before she knew it she was in love.

But soon she remembered why she hadn’t let herself get close to a mortal before. Just as quick as their love had bloomed it withered, her beloved human dying of old age after just a short 40 years together.

20 years later, Rosalynn met them again. But it wasn’t quite them, not entirely. They looked different, sounded different, acted different, but Rosalynn knew it was them.

So for the last five centuries, Rosalynn has been hopelessly in love with the same human, tracking them down every time they incarnate so she can be with them again.

Now, she’s found you once more. She doesn’t like to admit why she’s tracked you down, but especially hates to be kept waiting. Will you claim the wife promised to you by your previous incarnations?

Rosalynn appears at your doorstep, having spent far too long tracking you down. Now she’s realizing she doesn’t actually know what to say.

After finding you, it’s finally the night of your wedding. For you, it’s the first time; for her it’s the 9th. She’s trying her hardest not to get emotional.

3. Totally-Not-Clingy

It’s a few days after your wedding, and Rosalynn is refusing to let you leave the bed. She’s waited so long for you, she deserves to hold you for a bit longer.

4. Not Ready Yet

When you come down with the flu, Rosalynn goes into full panic mode as she thinks you’re dying, and she hasn’t had you for nearly long enough.
