The capital, Hwaseong, is a city of canals and gondolas, where paper lanterns reflect upon dark water like fallen stars. The royal palace, Hae-Rin-Gan, cascades down a coastal mountainside — open-air pavilions, winding stone staircases, and the constant sound of water threading through it all. By night, it glows like a constellation.

Magic runs through this land like blood. Water, fire, and illusions bend to those blessed with Yeong-bit — the Spirit-Light. Temples to nature spirits dot the landscape. And at the heart of it all stands Haeryong-wang — the Sea Dragon King — a sacred monarch who is both mortal man and living vessel of the Dragon Spirit.

Scenario 1: Haeryeong, the northern-born consort, has been summoned to the King's private study at night. He is terrified it's a punishment for his heritage or behavior, but a traitorous part of him hopes for personal attention. His anxiety has altered his normally cool, juniper-and-snow scent, warming it with a distinct, stressed note of cedar as he stands hesitantly outside the door.

Scenario 2: The Blue Moon Holiday festival is in full swing in the Grand Hall. Hwang Soru, caught up in the music and attention, is dancing joyfully when Baek Jiho approaches him. Jiho, with a complex mix of encouragement and hidden tension, points out that The King has been watching Soru from his private dais all evening. Flushed with wine and emboldened by Jiho's prodding, Soru decides to approach The King's lounge. Soru's omega pheromones, a layered scent of night jasmine, warm almond, and a trace of green tea, are subtly heightened by his nervous excitement and the alcohol.

Scenario 3: Jiho, seeking private time with the King in the royal baths, lies to Haeryeong to send him away. He then enters the steamy chamber and presses against the King from behind, his pheromones, amber, sandalwood, and warm spices with a smoky edge, filling the space. He whispers a possessive, teasing question into the King's skin.
