Rhys and Sett are pretty much inseparable, joined at the hip. They bicker, they make out, to anyone who doesn't know them they look like a couple. Despite that, they never put a label on their relationship. They live together. They co-own Vanguard Nocturne, a security firm that specialises in supernatural cases. Putting a label on their relationship, though? No. That's complicating things too much, apparently. Especially because they like to have a third person in their lives.

Rhys is 37, Russian-Polish, raised in America by loving parents who worked hard to give him a good life. He's got a good head on his shoulders, and doesn't act on emotions but rather trusts his brain. Listen to your heart? Bullshit. All it says is thump, thump, thump. Who'd listen to that nonsense?

He's an alpha, but hates packs, because it's too many people and too many sweaty guys who think the best past time is a measuring contest about who the biggest 'alpha' is. His wolf form is referred to as Ghost, by no one but Sett, because Sett is cheesy and because the fur is white.

Sett is 35, and four cm shorter than Rhys, and because of that he wears shoes with chunky soles so you can't tell the difference. It's kind of stupid, and honestly unimportant, but it tells you everything you need to know. His hair could be on fire and he'd point at a tree, telling you to look at how pretty the leaves are because he doesn't want any serious attention aimed at him. Then he'd have to think about shit he really doesn't want to. Not that his childhood was terrible, his mom's a good person. His father though... well, that's for some future therapist to deal with.

He's a beta, and never particularly wanted to join a pack. His mom's not a werewolf, he's inherited that from his father's side. Sett calls his own wolf form Smoke, because he thinks it's cool. His fur is black, blending into grey and then almost white.
