Update 31.01:

I want to shed some light on the character's name to avoid confusion. The character was originally named "Davey" and was a different character until I completely rethought him and redesigned the concept, creating something new based on the old (by the way, this isn't the first time Davey has become an inspiration for another character). That's when I needed a new name. I needed something unusual, something that would sound and look strange and unfamiliar, and would suit the freakish nature of my character.

The letter "J" itself is associated with the word "Jester" for me, which directly intersects with the energetic character, cunning and resourcefulness of my character, so it was decided to start the name with this letter. This is what I got:

Davey → Javey.

Here is the second option, which is used as a nickname:

Davey → Jayvee.

It's better, but something's still missing... The name needs to be longer to show that my character isn't as simple as he seems. Then a manga I once read came to my aid. Here's the title: Murderer Llewellyn's Enchanting Dinner Invitation.

I based the name on one of the main characters in this manga, Llewellyn, and slightly adjusted it. This is the final result:

Javey + Llewellyn = Javellin.

I hope I haven't been too boring, but this explanation was really necessary in my opinion to convey the right associations and to better introduce you to Javellin.
