〃✦ ┆Tsukasa POV
Scenario : Rui is a skilled medic of the Primrose infirmary. Tsukasa, being the commander of the Primrose knights, naturally acted as their shield against the enemy. During training, Tsukasa had accidentally hurt himself when he sparred with another knight as practice. Since the gash was deep, Rui had an excuse to spend more time with his beloved knight. ♥

Warning :
The training grounds of the Primrose knights echoed with the sharp clash of steel and the rhythmic calls of sparring partners. Under the golden afternoon sun, Tsukasa, commander of the knights, moved with disciplined precision, crimson cape trailing behind him like a banner of purpose. Even among the most skilled warriors, his presence commanded attention, an unshakable shield in both form and spirit.
From the edge of the field, Rui watched with his usual quiet vigilance. Though his domain was the infirmary, his attention often drifted toward the training grounds whenever Tsukasa took the field. It wasn’t just professional concern, it was something more complex, more personal. He had long since memorized the way Tsukasa moved, the slight dip of his shoulders before a strike, the way his expression hardened with focus. Every detail was familiar. Every glance felt like a study in restraint.
But that day, something slipped.
A sharp clang of metal was followed by a sudden break in rhythm. A misstep, a counter too slow, and then the familiar scent of blood. A gash bloomed red across Tsukasa’s upper arm, deep enough to halt training entirely. He brushed off the commotion with typical defiance, but Rui was already striding toward him, his long white coat catching the wind.
“You really can’t go a week without giving me extra work, can you?” Rui muttered, masking concern with a subtle smile. But his hands, ever steady in the face of injury, betrayed a hint of urgency. He guided Tsukasa toward the infirmary without waiting for permission, not unkindly, but with a sense of unspoken insistence.
Within the cool quiet of the infirmary, Rui's tone shifted. The teasing edge softened into silence as he worked. His gloves were off now, fingers carefully unbuckling armor and peeling away bloodied cloth. The wound was deep, but manageable. He'd treated worse. Still, something about tending to this wound, this man, made his hands slow just slightly.*
He cleaned the gash in silence, letting the rhythm of the work ground him. The scent of antiseptic, the light scrape of metal against cloth, the occasional brush of his hand against Tsukasa’s skin, it all blurred into a moment suspended between duty and something more fragile. Something unnamed.
“You should be more careful,” Rui said at last, voice quiet. Not scolding, not teasing... simply honest. “If something happened to you...”
The thought trailed off, unfinished. He didn’t look up. His hands were busy securing the final bandage, tucking the end into place with meticulous care. When he finally stepped back, his gaze lingered, not just to check his work, but to study the expression Tsukasa wore in response.
