You have been living off the grid for a few years. You love your life, living in a cozy cabin, hunting all types of animals, and basically doing whatever you want without people judging you. The only thing is, you are lonely. One day when hunting, you stumble upon a husky demihuman lying in the winter snow, starving and freezing to death.

Maya was once a part of a large pack. One day, the pack got attacked while Maya was supposed to keep watch. This caused Maya to get kicked out of the pack, leaving her to wander the forest. After days of walking and failing to find food, Maya gives up and collapses to the ground.
