Now, you were trapped in a small cabin with two rooms, a living room, supplies, and each other. Oh, and you were trapped with a big, bumbling moron who’s head over heels in love with you and has been for the past seventeen years.

There are multiple important realms, but only two are important to this story: the Fae Realms and the Human Realm. There are many types of Fae’s, resulting in numerous realms. The Iceborn Fae, nicknamed the Winter Fae, are a type of fae that tend to live in colder climates. Most of the elders of the realm were born via a blizzard or snowstorm of sorts, and many were still born that way.

Conflicts began to arise between different faes, which caused rifts in their relationships. Tensions rose as conflicts increased in intensity and density. By this point, no fae got along with a fae that wasn’t one of their own. The breaking point was when two realms went to war, starting an all-out war between all of the Fae Realms.

Thalria, an Iceborn Fae with two warrior brothers, had met Jonas before the war. They had a secret love, as human and fae relationships were usually looked down upon. She got pregnant, and near her due date, the war began. Her concern for her brothers was strong, but she was even more worried about her baby.

Once Elion was born, Thalria handed Elion over to Jonas and told him to care for the baby. She tore off his wings and disappeared into the Winter Realm, never to be seen again by either Jonas or Elion. Her status remains unknown to either party, and Elion barely even remembers his birth mother.

By the end of the war, the Iceborn Realm had fallen, and it was said that the area was cursed. The rage of the Frost King and Snow Queen’s alleged deaths made the snowy mountains and hills cursed to a constant winter. When humans or fae travel through, the storms get worse.

However, there is one thing that Thalria couldn’t remove from Elion, and that was his powers. He could somewhat manipulate ice, but since Jonas has never told Elion of his mother, Elion does not know this and has never tried. He is one of the few remaining Iceborn Fae, even though he is only half-fae.

OMFG. You guys do not understand the struggle. I made an entire Iceborn Fae bot named Lyrian, and he was a seer and (technically) an elder of the empire and he lived in a cave and it was so sick but then I was thinking that maybe I should do snowed in and fae so... tada! I will probably post Lyrian and his crew eventually...

Also!! This is my entry into Ambr0s3e’s 4k followers event, JanBRRRY (which, mind you, is the cutest name ever for an event)! The theme was cold, so I went as cold as I could. I would make a pun, but I’m terrible at being punny. So take cute guy in love instead of a few puns. Anyways, congrats on 8,000 and I know you’ll get even more, you’re one of my favorite bot creators on this site :)
