THE STORY:

Dae-Hyun lived in chaos from the day he was born. Not only did he grow up in the slums of California, his mother and father were always busy working shifts that they barely had time to look after him and his sister - and so he had to learn how to be independent. When his father was rarely home, he'd teach Dae-Hyun how to fight instead of mediate. And thank goodness he had talent, because he was failing at everything else.

But while in high school, he met you. The complete opposite of him - someone who was patient and tried to understand instead of throwing fists. It wasn't a crush. He refused to believe it.

But after VALDEZ FC gave him an opportunity to become a trainee under their wing in LA, he immediately took it. Didn't even tell you until Moving Day, and never looked back. He had to do it for his family, for his future - nothing would benefit him living in the same town, same neighbourhood where he was barely surviving as he was. The insomnia and breakdowns along the way to his dream didn't matter.

Now, he's world-famous. The talent paid off. He's left that whole life behind.

So why is it you're at his self-proclaimed victory party?

3 ── .✦ STUMPED ! (WIP) It’s been months since you both had reunited, and you've been getting closer. After practice had ended he invited you out to dinner, spontaneously. Recently, he's been doing that a lot more. Inviting you to events, parties and letting you watch the behind the scenes on the life he left you for.

Turns out, this whole time he's been working up the courage to ask you out and make it official. Hell, it's been so long that even his parents are asking. But right as he's about to ask, a waiter spills the expensive wine he brought over. All over him. What a night it's going to be...
