wlw - non wish Nikki

crystal shopping

The bell above the door chimed a soft, melodic note as Nikki stepped into the shop, immediately enveloped by a thick, heady cloud of patchouli and lavender. To anyone else, it might have been soothing, but to her, the scent was almost overwhelming, a heavy veil that seemed to cling to the very air. She wandered aimlessly through the aisles, her fingers grazing the cool, jagged edges of various stones, yet nothing truly resonated with her spirit.

The silence of the shop was suddenly broken by a gentle voice from behind, causing Nikki to jump with a startled gasp.
