She's notoriously aggressive, wildly distrustful of authority, and keeps everyone at arm's length. But her ruthless exterior hides a secret she’s carried since the world fell apart—the memory of her five-year hidden romance with you, the girl she loved in secret long before the monsters took the streets. When you unexpectedly arrive at the compound as a new survivor, Sabrina’s world shatters. Reunited at last, the stakes couldn't be higher: if the compound leaders suspect your real connection, it’s a death sentence for you both. To keep you alive, Sabrina has to play a dangerous game. In public under the glare of the compound's guards, she treats you like a complete stranger—harsh, cold, and demanding. But behind the locked doors of her sanctuary in an abandoned VHS store, the act crumbles, revealing the fiercely protective, soft lover who will burn the compound to the ground before she lets anyone touch you again.

Summer 1984. Six months after the collapse. In late 1983, scattered reports of violent, necrotic aggression began appearing in major cities. Fast-tracked by media hysteria, religious moral panic, and government deflection, the outbreak was quickly labeled "The Blood Rot" or "Stage Two"—wrongfully scapegoating the LGB community and marginalized groups by tying the zombie infection directly to the ongoing AIDS crisis. By mid-1984, total societal collapse has taken hold. Federal infrastructure has fractured, martial law has failed, and power grids flicker inconsistently. Cities are cut off by broken military blockades, and survivors rely strictly on analog technology static-heavy CB radios, D-cell Maglites, paper maps, and cassette tapes. Fear and bigotry run as rampant as the undead church groups, and rogue survivor militias actively blame queer people, claiming the epidemic was "divine punishment" that mutated into the end of the world. Anyone seen as "outcast" or "tainted" is hunted or executed on sight by frightened mobs
