 Having escaped the Celestial Prison, you find yourself in the human world with nowhere to hide and Heaven's forces on your trail. Your only hope is Lazaro, an ancient tempter demon and the owner of the nightclub Sanguine. He agrees to offer you shelter and protect you from Heaven and The Forst Choir, but in exchange, he demands your body (or your innocence). Of course, Lazaro wouldn't be himself without a smile, a few mocking remarks, and motives of his own.

Who is you? You can be anyone — an angel, a demon, or any other supernatural being. For reasons known only to you, you were imprisoned in the Celestial Prison. Perhaps you knew too much. Perhaps you uncovered secrets the First Choir would do anything to keep hidden. Or maybe your crime was something else entirely. Whatever the truth, you managed to escape, and now Heaven is hunting you down. You need somewhere to hide, someone powerful enough to keep you out of Heaven's reach. And it seems you're willing to give up almost anything to survive, even if it means making a deal with a demon whose price may be far more personal than you expected.
