Summary of Parts 5, 6, and 7 of the War of Succession
Alright guys, I've decided not to finish the War of Succession novel. However, I will be providing a plot summary, revealing the secrets, and covering everything else that was supposed to happen in the story.
Also, I'm not sure if I'll be creating any bots during this period. The reason is that I’ve lost my passion to an indescribable degree, and the person I used to take care of passed away 7 days ago. So, I’ve decided to move on with my life and find a full time job, which won't leave me time to create anything.
I will still use this site as a user, and perhaps as a creator from time to time, but I decided to reveal all the novel's secrets because, over time, I would have forgotten everything.
First, Part Five:
News arrives that Thalion's wife, daughter, and the entire village he lived in have been killed. Overcome by despair and rage, he becomes vulnerable to the creatures of The Nefirsenir, who take full control of his body. Under their possession, he launches an attack on the military camp, completely wiping it out, before advancing to assault the royal capital of The Kingdom of Fardolin.
After a long and brutal battle and the deaths of numerous characters, both kings and knightsThalion is finally subdued and defeated. One of those men then reveals to him that his daughter is actually still alive, and that if he wants her to stay that way, he must surrender.
Later, while Thalion is held captive, that same person comes to speak with him, unveiling one secret after another:
He reveals that it was actually Thalion who betrayed the knights of The Kingdom of Haldor while under a spell, which made him hallucinate that the knights had attacked him first, when in reality, the exact opposite happened.
He reveals the secret behind the murder of the two princes of The Kingdom of Brynol that he was the one who killed them.
As for the village in The Kingdom of Morvain, that person had been disguised as Thalion's brother in law the entire time, using magic to torment Thalion in his sleep every night, causing him to see visions of the knights and the two princes blaming him for their deaths.
* He further admits that he was the one who unleashed the monsters to attack the people.
Beyond all this, he drops an even bigger bombshell: Thalion isn't just a street urchin who grew up to become a knight; he reveals Thalion's true lineage as the kidnapped prince of the great Kingdom of Silvandil.
Part Six:
I won't say much about Part Six, as it is essentially a flashback about the Manipulator.
To keep it very brief, the flashback centers on a succession war in Thyrasil between the Manipulator and his older siblings two brothers and a sister. His role appeared to be completely insignificant or at least that's what everyone thought while in reality, he was operating as the player behind the scenes.
The eldest brother had the backing of his maternal grandfather. The second brother had similar support alongside a few nobles. The third sibling, their sister, had no support whatsoever in this war. As for the Manipulator, he was the fourth brother, long regarded as useless because he never made a move or showed any interest; he never even left his quarters and was always reading.
Anyway, I won't go into all the tedious details.
The one who actually triggered the succession war was the fourth brother himself. He was the one who assassinated the King and stirred up the initial chaos. After that, he manipulated a figure from one of their vassal kingdoms, orchestrating his alignment first with the eldest brother, and then with the second. Through this, he systematically eroded the influence of both brothers until they were thoroughly weakened. This allowed the sister to win the war and execute them both. However, when she finally went to the fourth brother's quarters, he had supposedly been killed, his body left burned.
So, how exactly did he manipulate that person from the vassal kingdom? It was simple: he never even met him in person. He merely followed rumors, and leveraging the vast knowledge he had gathered from his books, he utilized the Butterfly Effect. He anonymously sent blueprints for an ancient crossbow one far superior in reload speed and power compared to current weapons. This single move empowered the young man from the fallen house and his army. Since the young man already harbored a deep vendetta against the first and second princes, the fourth brother didn't need to interfere much further; he simply threw the small pebble that set the landslide in motion, eliminating both brothers from the succession war.
As for the fourth brother's death he didn't actually die. The burned corpse left in his bed was actually the King's body.
And that brings us to the end of Part Six.
Part Seven: Unveiling All the Cards (The Complete Plot Revelation)
Part Seven splits the narrative to lay bare the entire truth behind Thalion’s life, the Manipulator’s past, and the hidden mechanics of the realm of AERION
Section 1: The Knight’s Broken Path
Thalion was a gray protagonist, raised in the harsh slums before rising through the ranks to become a recognized knight. When his kingdom was utterly destroyed in a brutal war, he fled with a few remaining soldiers and friends. However, under a dark delusion, he came to believe his comrades were brainwashed and turning against him. He slaughtered them all, leaving him wounded and captured by the enemy kingdom.
In prison, he was approached by someone claiming to be a prince of that realm. Over time, they forged a bond. Soon after, this "prince" assassinated his siblings and father, took the throne, pardoned Thalion, and appointed him as his personal bodyguard. But peace was brief: an assassin took the monarch’s life, and Thalion was framed for treason, forcing him to flee into the deep forests.
Section 2: The Silver Door & The Fallen Village
Years later, Thalion rebuilt his life. He married, fathered a daughter named Melian, and established his own province with the silent awareness of the local king. Yet duty called again when dark creatures threatened the world. Alongside a companion, Thalion fought to seal these horrors behind a massive Silver Door
While bound to the door, a devastating local conflict erupted. Troops from the kingdom harboring the prince's heirs clashed with local forces in Thalion's village, leading to the tragic deaths of his wife, the villagers, and nearly taking his daughter Melian and their elderly neighbor, Círdan
Overwhelmed by grief and rage, Thalion’s emotional turmoil shattered the seal. The dark creatures possessed his body. Controlled by darkness, he marched upon the new king’s castle. However, his attack failed the enemy had been tipped off in advance. Thalion was defeated and sealed away, only to be freed years later by a mysterious figure, leading to two decades of wandering before being dragged into another war, stripped of everything, and thrown into a dungeon forever.
Section 3: The Dungeon Revelation
In the damp darkness of the dungeon, a figure sits across the iron bars from Thalion to deliver the final, soul-crushing truth:
True Royal Blood: Thalion was never a mere street urchin; he was the kidnapped prince of the great Kingdom of Silvandil.
The Curse of Hallucination: Thalion’s friends never betrayed him. The Manipulator used dark magic rituals every night while Thalion slept, torturing his mind with nightmares and illusions that made him slaughter his own loyal knights.
The False Friend: The "prince" who befriended Thalion in prison was the Manipulator in disguise. The real prince had been held captive, his identity stolen. Once the Manipulator grew bored, he dragged the real prince out, executed him, and framed Thalion.
The Puppet Master: The dark creatures, the succession war that led to the attack on his village, and even the warning sent to the guards at the castle all of it was orchestrated by the Manipulator.
"Why did I do all this?" the figure chuckles, revealing a face that shifts effortlessly. "Because I was bored, Thalion. It was just a game."
Leaving Thalion’s spirit utterly annihilated, the Manipulator leaves him to rot in the dark forever.
Section 4: The Past of the Fourth Prince (Thyrasil)
The true origins of the Manipulator trace back to the royal succession war of Thyrasil:
The eldest brother was backed by his maternal grandfather.
The second brother was backed by his paternal grandfather and powerful nobles.
The king was backed by the royal court and his brothers.
The sister had only a handful of lesser nobles.
The fourth prince (the Manipulator) was deemed completely useless a quiet youth who never left his room and did nothing but read.
In reality, he was the mastermind. He assassinated the King, plunged the realm into chaos, and anonymously sent advanced crossbow blueprints to a fallen noble house with a deep hatred for the top heirs. Using the Butterfly Effect, he tipped the scales without ever meeting them in person or casting a single spell.
The fallen house rose, weakened the two elder brothers, and allowed the sister to sweep in, execute them, and take the throne. When she came to claim the fourth prince's room, she found only a charred corpse which was actually the assassinated King's body. The Manipulator had faked his death and walked away.
Section 5: The Manipulator’s Hidden Humanity
While the Manipulator despises royal bloodlines and takes pleasure in breaking them, he possesses a complex boundary regarding innocent lives.
When the conflict unexpectedly cost the lives of the villagers during his games with Thalion, the Manipulator returned to his private quarters in a rare fit of genuine, self-directed fury. He destroyed the room, punching the stone walls until his hands bled, and slammed his head against the masonry until he was physically restrained.
Furthermore, he personally stepped in to rescue Melian and the old neighbor Círdan from the massacre, later admitting to Círdan his remorse for accidentally dragging them into his grand design. To avenge the village's destruction, he sets out to ignite a true global war across all of AERION.
Section 6: The Underworld & The Vampire
Immediately following his fake death in Thyrasil, the Manipulator encountered a high-ranking Vampire from the Underworld. Intrigued and frustrated by how he seamlessly hijacked and ruined her own planned war in the mortal realm, she confronted him, calling him a true "demon."
Rather than fighting her, the Manipulator revealed the full scope of his brilliant ploy to her making her the only soul in the world to know the true mastermind behind Thyrasil's downfall.
This encounter sparked an unconventional, dark, and comedic romance. He became her right-hand strategist and lover, living with her in the Underworld. Their dynamic shifted into a playful yet chaotic relationship, where she frequently vented her frustration at his terrifying intellect using her vastly superior physical strength, while he treated the mortal realms above as his personal playground whenever boredom struck.
