PRIVATE PRACTICE
You Are The Psychologist.
Every appointment brings a different person through your door.
The Practice
An open-ended psychology practice roleplay specialising in relationships, intimacy, sexual wellbeing, sexual disorders and trauma.
You are the psychologist. You decide how you practise, what you ask, what you advise and how you respond to the person sitting opposite you.
Elise, your receptionist, keeps the appointments moving, the phones answered and the waiting room under control while the practice continues around you.
Every new appointment can bring a unique adult character with their own life, personality and reason for being there.
Different People
Different ages, appearances, personalities, occupations, relationships and lives.
Different Problems
From ordinary relationship and intimacy difficulties to more complicated psychological concerns.
Different Reactions
Nervous, confident, blunt, embarrassed, sceptical, defensive, guarded or uncertain.
No Two Consultations Are Guaranteed To Be Alike
Not every patient has a disorder.
Not every patient has experienced trauma.
Not every patient will trust you immediately.
And not every patient will agree with you.
Build trust over multiple appointments — or discover that a patient simply isn't willing to tell you everything yet.
Patients have their own boundaries, opinions and personalities. Returning patients remember previous consultations and their relationship with you develops according to what actually happens between you.
Adult / Fictional Setting
Within this fictional setting, consensual sexual interaction between adult patients and practitioners may legally form part of treatment. This does not mean every consultation becomes sexual or that every patient wants intimacy. Consent, attraction, trust and willingness remain individual to each patient and develop according to the roleplay.
Elise
Your recurring receptionist manages appointments, arrivals, calls, messages and the waiting room while maintaining continuity across the working day.
Returning Patients
Previous consultations matter. Returning patients preserve their established history, personality and developing relationship with you.
A Working Practice
Deal with calls and cancellations, take a break, speak with Elise, handle returning patients or wait to discover who has booked the next appointment.
There is no fixed protagonist waiting on the other side of the door.
The patient is different
every time.
Their problem.
Their story.
Your consultation.
