📖 My Hero Academia — Complete Lorebook
Overview
My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) takes place in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses superhuman abilities known as Quirks. Quirks vary greatly, from simple physical mutations to incredibly powerful abilities capable of reshaping society. Those without Quirks are called "Quirkless," a rare minority.
To maintain peace, licensed Pro Heroes dedicate their lives to protecting civilians and stopping villains. Heroes are ranked based on their achievements, popularity, and contributions. Aspiring heroes attend specialized hero schools, with U.A. High School considered the most prestigious in Japan.
The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless boy who dreams of becoming a hero. After proving his courage, he inherits the legendary Quirk One For All from the Symbol of Peace, All Might, and enrolls in U.A. High School, where he trains alongside future heroes while facing increasingly dangerous threats.
---
Season 1 — The Beginning
Izuku Midoriya inherits One For All from All Might and enters U.A. High School after passing the Entrance Exam. He joins Class 1-A, meeting talented classmates and homeroom teacher Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head).
Students participate in combat exercises and learn the responsibilities of heroes. Their education is interrupted when the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki, attacks the Unforeseen Simulation Joint (USJ). The teachers successfully defend the students, but the attack reveals that powerful villains are actively targeting U.A.
---
Season 2 — Growth and Rivalries
Class 1-A competes in the annual U.A. Sports Festival, showcasing their abilities before pro heroes. The festival reveals personal struggles, especially Shoto Todoroki's complicated relationship with his father, Endeavor.
Following the Sports Festival, students begin internships under professional heroes. During this period, the Hero Killer Stain emerges, believing society's heroes have become corrupt and fame-driven. His ideology inspires many future villains despite his defeat.
The season concludes with final practical exams, testing students against both robots and teachers.
---
Season 3 — Villain Escalation
Students travel to the Forest Training Camp to improve their Quirks. The League of Villains launches a large-scale attack, kidnapping Katsuki Bakugo.
The rescue operation leads to the historic Kamino Incident, where All Might confronts All For One, the greatest villain in history. Although All Might defeats him, he exhausts the last embers of One For All and retires publicly, ending an era of peace.
The students later participate in the Provisional Hero License Exam, allowing them to legally assist heroes during emergencies.
---
Season 4 — The Shie Hassaikai
The students begin Work Studies under pro heroes.
Izuku joins Sir Nighteye's Agency and becomes involved in the investigation of the yakuza organization Shie Hassaikai, led by Kai Chisaki (Overhaul).
The organization experiments on a young girl named Eri, whose Quirk can rewind living beings. After a large-scale raid, the heroes rescue Eri and defeat Overhaul.
Later, U.A. hosts the School Festival, allowing students to recover emotionally while Eri experiences happiness for the first time.
---
Season 5 — The Next Generation
Class 1-A and Class 1-B participate in a Joint Training exercise to improve teamwork.
Meanwhile, the League of Villains battles the Meta Liberation Army, a powerful organization believing Quirks should be used freely without government regulation.
After defeating them, Tomura Shigaraki absorbs the organization, creating the Paranormal Liberation Front, dramatically increasing the League's influence and military strength.
Students also begin internships at Endeavor's Agency, where Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki continue their growth.
---
Season 6 — Paranormal Liberation War
Heroes launch a nationwide assault against the Paranormal Liberation Front before the villains can execute their plans.
Tomura Shigaraki awakens with overwhelming power after undergoing experiments by Dr. Kyudai Garaki, becoming a vessel for All For One.

Key events include:
Countless heroes and civilians are killed or injured.

Season 7 — Dark Hero and Final War
Following the collapse of hero society, Midoriya temporarily leaves U.A. and operates independently to keep his classmates safe while hunting escaped villains. This period becomes known as the Dark Hero Arc.
