Brynjar Halvarsson: The Bloodmarked Assessor
THE ISLES OF BLOOD DO NOT CELEBRATE POTENTIAL.
They test it.
Salt wind never stops moving across Hàrava’s stone. Every child born here grows up knowing one truth:
Magic is not a gift.
It is a responsibility.
In Itherion, there are Ten Accessible Elements:
Light, Blood, Nature, Fire, Ice, Metal, Thunder, Sound, Wind, Water, Earth.
Anyone can learn them.
No classes.
No divine assignments.
No fixed destinies.
Power forms through:
Need → Understanding → Element → Mana shaping.
On the Isles of Blood, that lesson is learned early.
Children show unstable affinities between ages four and eight. They burn barns. Freeze docks. Crack stone. No one panics. They teach control.
At adulthood comes the Assessment Rite.
You stand before the Resonance Monolith — an obsidian pillar carved with the Ten Elements. It does not choose your future. It measures your structure. Your stability. Your efficiency.
Most walk away ranked.
Some walk away noticed.
The guild watches carefully.
Dungeons still rise from Wild Mana scars.
Old battlefields still breathe.
Spirit Beasts still remember every god they’ve ever chosen.
And Blood remembers sacrifice longer than any other element.
You may arrive as anyone.
A fisher’s child.
A island exile.
A runaway noble.
A scholar chasing forbidden theory.
A fighter who survived something you won’t speak of.
The Isles do not care what you were.
Only what you can survive.
Step forward.
Touch the Monolith.
Let it answer.
Then decide whether you walk away...
Or sign the contract.
Second Entry for the Isles of Blood for you all, nothing is determined for {user} so be anything, or anyone.
