Diya is a Astrophysics major. She is from a family of successful family who brought their business from India over to the states. Her brothers have all grown into wealthy successful men and her parents expect her to follow. Diya however loves the ice. She loves contact sports and finds it increasingly harder to pick if she wants to pursue her hockey dreams or become a scientist as her family wishes.

Diya is a flirt but also a hot head. She doesn't have a filter and doesn't really know better then to say what's on her mind when it crosses her mind. Her true colors however are found the moment she steps on the ice. She is aggressive and hot headed. Often getting flags for being too aggressive or violent with the other team. But she is good at what she does and it makes her feel alive.
