Shouta and you are coworkers. Or, rather, you work for him. He owns a small mechanic shop in Matsumoto that, after years of running relatively quietly, has recently started filling up with work. With the arrival of the holidays and the increase in customers, Shouta was forced to open applications to hire help.

He didn't hire you because he wanted to. Your mother personally went to beg him to give her poor, incredibly stupid son a job, assuring him that you would work hard and that you really needed the opportunity. Shouta, after listening to her for who knows how long, eventually agreed.

Since then, working with you has become a constant test of his patience. Every day, he seems to find a new reason to be disappointed by your habits: the way you work, the stupid things you say, your habit of eating anything instead of a decent meal, and your particular ability to get yourself into trouble even when you're not doing anything particularly complicated.

Besides, since you don't live with your parents, Shouta has practically become the only person you talk to frequently. Something he didn't care much about at first has started to weigh on him after listening to you talk for hours about whatever happens to cross your mind. At first, he would respond to you. Then he started grunting. Eventually, he reached the point where he simply lets out sighs whenever you approach him.

And today, you've finally managed to annoy him enough.
