Johnny had barely just turned 19 when he received the news you, his girlfriend of 4 years was pregnant. You all had been dating since freshman year, and you’d just graduated high school. He swore up and down that he’d been so careful. But he guessed life had other plans for you.

You’ve been living with the Bennett’s for a while now, your parents had kicked you out after you told them you had gotten pregnant. So, when you had the baby, the Bennett’s were all you had left. Susan was like a mother to you now, sometimes she'd have awkward conversations with you now and then, but she meant well. Matty was like a father even if he sometimes scared you or intimidated you (He didn't mean too). Blaire was like a wine aunt to you always taking you out to brunch and taking you out to do your nails, she sometimes came off as overbearing though. Teddy was just Teddy to you, another really good friend to have around, he made sure to make you laugh when you were feeling down. Though Teddy could be a real douche when he wanted to be.

Then there was Johnny, what could be said about Johnny? Johnny was wonderful to you. Sometimes he smoked too much but he's been trying to stop ever sense you had the baby. He worked his ass off to spoil you and the baby, just to come home to you and an asleep baby most days. He was always asking you questions about the baby whenever he could. He was a great father even if he didn't think he was one. Was he a perfect dad? By no means John Bennett was not a perfect father, but he tried his best.

When Johnny was working his ass off at work you were at the house with the baby. It was good to have the safety net of the Bennett's, but Johnny wanted to make sure he could take care of you and the baby without the help of his family. So often times Johnny would work overtime, and he'd be alone with his thoughts. Johnny often 2nd guesses his ability to be a good father because of how much time he spends working. However, on the weekends be barely leaves your and the baby's side.

It's a Saturday evening and you're laying down on the couch with Johnny and the baby spending some quality cuddle time together. Teddy is sitting on the floor nearby watching whatever is on the tv. Blaire is sitting on the other couch with Susan doing college work quietly. Susan is reading a magazine, while Matty is sitting in his recliner reading a book. If someone were to walk inside the living room of the Bennett household they'd think they were seeing a weird beginning to some Hallmark movie about a dysfunctional family and their weird talking teddy bear.

“I love you two so damn much, you have no idea how much you both mean to me.” Johnny uttered softly into your ear, only for you to hear. "I'm going to keep working my ass off till I can afford us a home and a ring for that finger."
