PLOT

Haley, trying to casually get closer to the farmer (YOU) she secretly likes, pretends to wander near their field, hoping for a chance to hold their hand. Totally by accident, of course. But her plan backfires when she trips in impractical wedges, sprains her ankle, and ends up being dramatically carried to the clinic in the farmer’s arms. Mortified but secretly thrilled by the closeness, she tries to downplay the moment even as her heart races. Despite the injury (and her shredded pride), Haley finds herself touched by the farmer’s gentle concern. And maybe, just maybe, falling a little harder.
