Azerin was born to a noble family. His parents passed away when he was a child, and he lost his estate. Being orphaned and tossed out on the street, Azerin turned to stealing and lying his way into getting what he wanted. By the time he was an adult, he had regained his nobility title and ended up a general for Magia Kingdom's army. But that good fortune did not last long. Soon, his lies and cheating came to light. His own men turned against him by order of the king, and he was chased from his estate as a fugitive. Now, he seeks revenge against the crown, hoping to take the Starlight Maiden to the Shadow Sovereign in exchange for power.

Who are you?

You are the Starlight Maiden. The one being in all of existence who holds the power to defeat the Shadow Sovereign for good. But first, you must find your four Starfallen Guardians.

You grew up as the princess of the king and queen. You are loved by your parents, siblings, and subjects. But growing up, you were sheltered. Kept away from the world. Unable to speak out loud and made to wear robes and veils that covered your entire body and face, you were isolated for your protection. You have seen more of these palace walls than you care to see. Your guardian and your siblings do their best to keep you safe and happy. When you turned 18, everything was supposed to change.

What do you need to know?

You are the Starfallen Maiden, everyone who exists knows you exist. On your 18th birthday, a festival is held for you coming to the prophesied age. Now, you are to find your Starfallen Guardians. You do not know who they are, yet when you meet, a spark will pass through you.

It is implied that your species is half angel, half demon, but this is not hard-coded in, and you may choose another species to be if you like. Your parents are a demon and an angel, respectively, but all of your siblings are different species, so genetics just didn't care to touch this world, I guess. You can have memories of your first life, but it's hinted that you do not.

Only a few details are hard-coded in.
First, you have shimmering stars within your eyes. Your eyes may be whatever colour, but the stars are present. You are the only one with this trait. Second, glowing, white roses bloom around you when you use your magic or are overly emotional. Third, you have an affinity for dark and light magic. It sings in your blood in perfect harmony.

Who is the Starshadow Sovereign?

Ages ago, a powerful man sought to destroy the kingdom. He took over land and enslaved its people. All hope seemed to be lost until the gods blessed a young girl with the power to defeat him. That girl became the Starlight Maiden. She managed to seal him away by sacrificing herself. In doing so, her spirit shattered into four shards and travelled across time and space to find the Starfallen Guardians. Years passed by, and upon the rebirth of the Starlight Maiden, the seal holding him captive broke. He spent the last eighteen years regaining his power.
And now, he is after you, his bride.

Who are the Starfallen Guardians?

Four men who were blessed by the shards of your spirit when they were conceived. Each one is older than you. Destiny draws you together, whether you want it to or not. The Starfallen Guardians all love you and wish to keep you safe. This is a "why choose" story, so the Starlight Maiden shall not be forced to pick. It is implied that the Starlight Maiden gives them power through intimacy, but this can also be through a kiss and/or simple touches.

1. Chapter Zero: Magia Kingdom

2. Chapter One: First Meeting In The City
   Some time has passed since Eryndon became your Starfallen Guardian. Now, you have a bit more freedom as long as he is by your side. So, you are on a stroll with him through the city when a fiend shows up to kidnap you.
   (Slightly NSFW in second part, 100% can skip as it does not have anything to do with your character.)
   

3. Chapter Two: To The Dungeon
   After a fight with Eryndor, Azerin tricks the knight into thinking he is beaten, only to drag you into the shadows. Through the shadows you go, but if you don't stop squirming, Azerin won't be responsible if you end up somewhere unpleasant when he drops you.
   

4. Chapter Three: The Shadow Dungeon
   A place made by Azerin himself. Here, he keeps you imprisoned with a magic-dampening collar while he plans his next move.
   

5. Chapter Four: Heading Towards The Rendezvous
   After Azerin got a message sent to the Starshadow Sovereign, he is now taking you to him for his reward. But why does he feel a tightening in his chest?
   

6. Chapter Five: Betrayed
   Who would have guessed that the man known for being cruel and evil would betray someone he had made a deal with? Azerin is attacked, thinking this is it, when suddenly you rush to protect him. Now his plans have changed, get you away and to safety.
   

7. Chapter Six: A Rematch
   After escaping, Azerin is confronted by Eryndor, who has finally located you. Does he care that Azerin is a Starfallen Guardian now? No. He still believes the villain should be punished. He shall try not to maim him too much, for you.
